this is like kind of an epilogue but also kind of a part 10

|tatum|10 years later|
"Happy birthday dear Sydney, happy birthday to you!" we all sang, circled around Calum and I's now five year old.
"And many more," Ashton sang loudly, carrying our the o. Everyone laughed and Sydney blew out her candles as we all clapped.
As I began to cut the cake, Calum, who had Sydney on his lap, said "So, Syd, what did you wish for?"
"I wished for a little sister, I only have brothers!" she told him.
Calum chuckled and said "Well mama and I will get working on that as soon as possible."
Tonight is Calum and I's daughters birthday party. All of our friends are here and it's been a great night.
At the moment, Calum and I have three kids. But apparently, we might just be adding a new one. Sydney is our oldest and then we have twin boys, Ethan and Jackson, who are almost four. We also have a golden retriever, named Kitty (Sydney picked it). We've been married four about nine years now. We are living in a beach house in Malibu, which I absolutely love. 5 Seconds of Summer is still going strong, they recently celebrated 15 years! But they don't do those big tours they used to. Sure they still tour, but the tours only last a month at the most because all four boys now have their own kids that they need to be there for. We all live here in Malibu, we're all neighbors. And as for me, I've published a couple books now and done a few little book tours. Everything is going great for our family and I couldn't be happier.
And now on to Luke, Michael, and Ashton. They are all married with kids. Luke is married to Hailee, they have one little boy, Sebastian. Michael is married to Gillian, they have four kids. JP (short for John Peter), Sadie, Lexi and Jackson. And Ashton is married to Morgan, and they are only a month and a half away from finally having their own baby. We don't know the gender yet, they want it to be a surprise.
Everything is going great for us four families. We go on annual family vacations around the world together, yes we're that group.

A few hours later, I'm tucking the boys into bed while Calum is doing the same with Sydney down the hall.
"Goodnight, Mommy," Ethan said, kissing my cheek.
"Goodnight, babies," I smiled, giving both of them hugs and kisses. I turned the lights out and then walked down the hall to Sydney's room, where I heard muffled talking and giggles as I got closer to the room.
I leaned against the door frame, watching Calum talk to our daughter. His back was to me so they didn't know I was in there.
"So what was your favorite part of today?" Calum asked her.
"Hmm," she thought. "When Uncle Mikey drank the crazy juice and tried to ride Kitty," she giggled.
Calum laughed loudly. "That crazy juice sure does make people silly, doesn't it?"
"Yeah! Can I try some crazy juice?"
I covered my mouth trying to cover my laugh. Crazy Juice = alcohol.
"Maybe when you turn 21," Calum said, also trying to stifle a laugh. Sydney just shrugged, and then yawned loudly. "That's a sign it's bed time," Calum told her, laying her down.
"Goodnight dada, I love you," she hugged him tightly and then kissed his cheek.
He kissed her cheek as well and then said "Goodnight princess, I love you."
Just then he turned around and jumped at the sight of me. I giggled and told Sydney goodnight, then followed Calum out the room, shutting the door behind me. We walked to the kitchen, where Calum poured us both a glass of wine. We brought them into the living room and sat down, snuggled up on the sofa.
"We did a good job," he sighed happily, wrapping his arm around me.
I nodded, and tapped my glass against his. "I'd say."
"Remember when you were obsessed with me? Like stalker obsessed?"
I scoffed, shaking my head. "I wasn't obsessed! And especially not with you, Ashton was my favorite."
We both started laughing and we spent the next half hour or so talking about our past years together. It has been around 12 or so years since the day Calum and I started talking, and it still hasn't really sunk in. I can't believe how lucky I am to be married to the love of my life. But honestly, Calum is so much more than simply the love of my life. He is my best friend, my soulmate, my home. It's rare that you find someone who lights up your life, who makes you wanna be the best version of yourself, who makes you see the world in vibrant colors. And I'm one of the few people who get to experience that. Calum set a fire in my heart, he still does to this day. And it's so crazy to me because usually couples, after being married for a while, get out of that 'honeymoon phase', but even now, nine years later, I still fall in love with him all over again every single day.
