~ Jordan's POV ~
How was it even possible? There was no lore, no scripts, no scrolls, no... nothing. There was nothing on this fifth spirit. She had never heard of it and certainly neither had Link. 'And on top of it,' she thought 'I can't even check online to verify if there ever was one...' She had to find out more about the lands lore.

"Link," she tapped his shoulder. " I was wondering if you could tell me more about how your world works?"

"Really?" He laughed "because sometimes I feel you know more about my world, and me, than I do!"

"Well that's because I have an outside view." She explained. "But sometimes an inside view is more reliant than one from the outside." She paused to think. "I have an idea. I tell you what I know about your world, and you tell me if I'm right or if I'm wrong."

"That sounds fine to me." Link smiled. As the hours and the cart rolled on the two exchanged what they knew about the world and about Link. Most of the lore matched except for one or two details where some event differed than what Jordan remembered.

"Ok, so then what happens when you die?" She questioned him.

"Sorry?" Link did a double take "what do you mean? The closest I've ever come to death was when Mitch shishkabobed me." He laughed. Now it was Jordan's turn to be confused.

"But back home, in your games, when you die you always get brought back by the goddesses!?"

"I'm sorry Jordan." He waved his hand and shook his head. "But I've never died before, and I don't believe anyone could come back from that." He frowned trying to think of any information that could help. "The only thing I can think of that you might be talking about is the fact that no one can keep going forever. Eventually, you're going to get tired; eventually you're going to need to take a break. If I get too badly hurt in battle, the goddesses will bring me and anyone with me to a safer place. But if I die," he sighed "well, then I die. End of story." Link laughed sadly. "Being 'The Hero' doesn't make you invincible, not even in your own story."
Jordan sat in silence letting the new information sink in. Once again she realized just how close she had come to death so far away from home. "So," she shook with the realization "you die; you're done. That's it."

Link let her gather her thoughts knowing it was a tough pill to swallow. "We should get some sleep though. I think you have the next watch." They had been so focused on each other's questions Jordan hadn't even noticed the cart had stopped and the sun had gone down. She forgot how fast the days were. Furthermore, the rain had kicked up again. 'Great.

Jordan headed back in from her watch soaking wet and splattered with mud. The rain had been coming down like bullets that last hour. She woke up Bashur for his watch, and rolled up into a Jordan burrito in her blankets. 'Finally.' She thought as she looked up at the stars above them in Hyrule fields. 'Sleep.' A blood curling scream pierced the air.

'Dammit' she rolled over and got up off of the floor everyone else had woken up too.

"Came from over there." Mitch pointed off towards a small ledge in the middle of the field, a small fire lit on the ground beneath a tree.

"Alright," Link pulled his shirt on and reached for his sword. "grab some gear. Bashur, Deadlox, Bodil, Ssundee, and Jordan, you're with me. The rest of you stay here and guard camp. We'll be back.

Jordan walked up front with Link, bow in hand. Why anyone would want to be out here at night was beyond her. Up ahead she could see the fire with something walking around it. 'Hmmm...'

"Link, can I borrow your hawk mask?"

"Sure." She looked into the mask up to where the fire was lit. She could see three Boboklins and something lumped against the tree.

"Easy pickings," she handed the mask back to Link." we should be out of there in less than thirty minutes.

"I've got it!" Yelled Bodil.

"No, wait!" Link and Jordan grabbed for him. It was already too late. A horn blew from the tree and the Boboklins by the fire drew back their bows aiming for the newly announced intruders. Behind the defending Boboklins more appeared helping to defend their prize by the tree. Link's group was outnumbered. An arrow shot from one of the monster's bows and struck Bashur at the back of their group. He fell to the ground not moving. Jordan screamed, a storm of arrows flew towards them, Link grabbed Jordan and ducked behind his shield.

She made to go and help Bashur once the arrows fell to the ground, but Link held her back. It was already too late. Deadlox too had been hit by the arrows and now looked like a porcupine. All they could do was try to protect Bodil and Ssundee, and whatever the Boboklins were trying to keep for themselves. Ahead of them, she heard the squeal of a monster losing its life.

Finally they made it to the fire. Around them a small battle had broken out. Two, of the now twelve, Boboklins were dead. Jordan shot two and Link sliced down three more. Ssundee cried out in pain as a rugged Boboklins blade ripped through his torso; he dropped to the ground. Three more monsters fell with arrows in their heads. Bodil cut one more down before being struck down by the last monster. Link cried out and dropped to his knees. Midna appeared and finished the final foe.

Jordan couldn't believe it. Four of her friends dead on the easiest job. And all for what? A lump under the tree and the scream of a person who may not even be alive.

Cautiously she approached the object against the tree. The flames from the fire had died out to a few pips of light, barely enough to see past the pit itself. Reaching out she touched the rough rope loosely tied at the top of the sack, and pulled. The sack fell away revealing a young lady no older than 17, she had long flowing hair fading from blue to purple stopping halfway down her back. Her pale skin almost glowed in comparison to her clothing. She wore a simple outfit consisting of a black shirt, black riding pants, a dark brown leather belt (with a pouch on her right hip), and small folded over dark brown boots no taller than her ankles. 'Who are you?'
