The next day I woke up and got ready. As I was getting dressed, an alert popped up on the monitor in our room. I shook Drew awake. "What?? Is it time?" I gave him a confused look. "What are you talking about? Just wake up and get ready. I need to show you something important."
It took Drew at least 10 minutes to get ready. Drew walked over to where I was standing. I pointed to the monitor. "Guess we aren't the only ones here." Drew squinted at the screen. "Imperial troopers. How did they find us?"
I shook my head. "I don't know, but if we want to find more information, we need to go back down to the market place. It took us 20 minutes to get down to the market. Apparently Imperial troopers cause a lot of buzz in the city.
We finally found our way out, and went our separate ways. I found the booth where I found the necklace. The owner wasn't there or she was just not the moment. I decided to do some snooping around. I usually don't be my sneaky self, but it can be very useful.
I looked to make sure nobody saw. I shouldn't have worried because either people were too busy with themselves or too busy gossiping about the Imperial troopers. Arrogant people I thought to myself. I walked behind the booth. I started looking for private documents. Why would someone keep something important here? I know I wouldn't.
I looked over the counter to make sure nobody was there. No one. Good. I looked everywhere. I picked up baskets and looked underneath jewelry boxes. Nothing. Ugh! Of course there wouldn't be anything here. She probably keeps them at her house or bank.
I was about to give up when something caught my eye. A receipt. I didn't care what it was for. I had found a piece of information. The receipt was ripped in half and the other half was missing. I didn't have a lot of information to get anything from. I was done looking around. I had been here for an hour and had to get back to see what Drew had gathered.
Before I was getting ready to go, something caught my eye at the top of the receipt. The word had been scratched off. I could barely make it out. It said Imper. I sat there confused at the word. It took my brain to process the word. After a few minutes, I finally figured what it said. Imperial.
She is a Imperial spy. How could I have been so stupid not to realize? I had studied every Imperial spy that had been or was one. I had to tell Drew about my findings. I rushed out of the booth.
I couldn't find Drew anywhere. It was like he disappeared in thin air. I soon felt a buzz in my pocket. It was Drew. I pulled out my transmitter. Drew said that he was in he central building and to meet up with him. Why would he be there? We said we wouldn't go there. Oh well maybe he found something useful.
I rushed over to the central building and asked the receptionist where Drew was. She said he was up on the third floor in room A. I said thank you and went in to the elevator. I found the room and knocked. There was no answer. I tried opening the door. I was unlocked.
I stepped in and saw Drew. "Hey. You wouldn't believe what I just found out." Drew stepped out behind the wall with a Imperial trooper pointing a pistol toward his head. "Hey Aylia. How's it going? Oh and by the way. There's some Imperial troopers in this room."
