"Hey, our shift is over!" Steve yelped excitedly looking at the clock. Soda wooed from the backroom.
Maya and I laughed at the counter.Soda and I went in my car, and Maya went in
Steve's rusty beat up car. I know Maya
wasn't a person to judge, so she didn't care what car
she was going in.All she wanted to do was be with one person; Steve.
Soda started to drive, locking his eyes on the road.
I looked over at him, and melted a little bit inside.
He looked so perfect. He seemed perfect. His personality was ...perfect.I don't think I have a chance with Soda–I mean look at him. He sure is taken by someone. I'm not the most gorgeous person in the world, but it's okay.
"What is one thing you want in your life?" Soda asked, breaking my train of thoughts.
I thought for a couple of seconds. "To be happy."
I said smiling. Soda looked over at me and smiled with his perfect movie star smile. I couldn't help but blush.BEEP!
I gasped. "SODA POP CURTIS! You almost ran the red cause you were looking over at me!" I screamed out. He started to laugh. "You used my full name. And I couldn't help looking at you. You're just–beautiful," Soda said, blushing.
(if you know where that part "you almost ran the red cause you were looking over at me" then i love you forever. message me so we can become friends lolol)
I couldn't help but blush like an idiot, and not only make myself look like a fool in front of Soda.
"Gee, Soda. Stop flirting with me," I chuckled. "Sorry, can't help it."A couple of minutes later we pulled up in front of a small, cottage house. It had a crap-ton of noise coming out of it.
"Welcome to my home. It's really loud in there all the time–it's the gang," Soda said to be interrupted by a loud "I WON!" from inside of the house.
Soda walked around to my side of the car and opened it for me like a real gentleman. "Thank you," I giggled. He bowed his head and then laughed.
Steve and Maya were 3 blocks away, since they left a little bit after us.
"Let's see who won," Soda said, leading me up to the door and into the house.
"Who's this?" a boy said. "A broad!" another one said. "Guys, meet Violet Cliff. Met her and her friend at the DX. Steve and her friend are coming along," Soda said, introducing me. I smiled at all of them. "She's hot," a tall, brown haired boy said. Soda rolled his eyes.
Soda introduced me to the gang, and they all seemed pretty decent. One of them–Dallas Winston I believe he was wasn't so nice; but that's okay. He seemed kinda pushy. He winked at me. What a flirt, I thought to myself. Momma always said to be nice to everyone, even if they are a little bit mean.
"So are you guys...ya know?" Ponyboy asked. This was Soda's brother–he seemed really nice and was good looking like Soda, but not as handsome. He looked around 14-ish.
"No!" Soda laughed. "I only met her today! You can't meet someone you just met!"
Maya then walked in the door with her hand intertwined with Steve. My eyes widened. "I guess others seem to think different," Two-Bit laughed. Maya and Steve. Holding hands. Steve seemed good for her but I'd have to talk to him after to give him some rules since Maya didn't have any parents right now to tell her.
