I opened my eyes to be greeted by the bright rays of the sun. I groaned in pain.

"What the hell just happened?" I mumbled to myself, getting up, and holding my head.

I put my arm down and start walking, just thinking about what happened.

When I finally was aware of the situation, I didn't cry.

I couldn't.

It's like I woke up without emotion, like my heart ran away when I woke up. Maybe someone ripped it out while I was in a deep slumber...

I continue walking until I reach the Curtis house. Thankfully, Soda is not there when I knock on the door.

Darry answers the door, in shock.

"Violet! Where were you? Oh my god, you're bleeding like a stuck pig, come inside!" Darry yelled, grabbing me.

I just gave him a faint smile and nodded, not feeling any emotion still.

This is what happens when you fall for someone, this is what happens. Mom warned me.

Darry layed me onto the couch I've slept on before, then Ponyboy walked in, and bombarded me with questions.

"Violet!" He squealed, hugging me. I groaned because my body just hurt like hell.

He realized I was bleeding and hurt, and let go of me and stroked my face.

"What happened?" He whispered, looking into my eyes.

I just shrugged weakly. Darry kept asking me where I was, and I just kept shrugging. I didn't feel like speaking.

"Out and about," I finally responded.

They both cocked their heads in confusion.

"Honestly, what happened?" Ponyboy asked, grabbing my hand.

I sighed. "Soda. Soda happened."

Ponyboy just sat there, let go of my hand.

Darry watched in confusion.

"I'll leave you two," he said quietly, handing the ice pack to Ponyboy.

"Why would you let him–" Pony asked angrily.
