Darry had left with Soda and Steve. Two-Bit left me with Maya, Ponyboy, Dallas, and Johnny.

"Let's go change," I told Maya. She nodded at me and I walked out of the Curtis house, grabbed my suitcase and Maya's, and went back inside.

I tossed Maya her suitcase, told her where the bathroom was, and headed towards Soda's room. I changed into a striped long sleeve shirt with boyfriend jeans and black high top converse.

I swiped ruby red lipstick, a little bit of mascara on my eyelashes, and left the room.

Maya was conversating with Johnny, already changed. How Maya got ready so quickly, I don't know.

"Darlin', you look hot," Dally said with a grin.
"Shut up," I said, flipping him off.
Johnny and Pony started to laugh, and Dally grunted.

"Where do you broads wanna go? Let's go explore Tulsa," Dally said.

"Let's take em' to the drive in!" Ponyboy said cheerfully. Johnny nodded in agreement and gave a light smile.

"Sure," I said, grabbing my leather jacket.
We all walked to the drive in, and Dally suggested we sneak in.

"Are you serious Winston? It's literally a quarter. We don't need to sneak in," I said gruffly.

"Why not? We came to hang out. I don't do anything legal anyway. Come on guys," Dallas said, motioning over to Johnny and Ponyboy.

They shrugged at me and gave me and Maya a sympathetic look. Maya scoffed and rolled her eyes.

"Got 25 cents?" Maya asked. I searched in my pocket, walking towards the entrance. I found a dime, and one quarter.

"Well, shoot Maya. I only got 35 cents," I said.
She grunted. "Damn, should've went with them."

"I'll pay for these two beautiful girls," a voice said from behind me. I snapped my head around to see a boy dressed in khakis and a vest. Was that a Soc?

"No, we're fine. No need to pay for us," I spat rudely.
"Hey, no need to be rude," the boy said, putting his hand on my back with a wink.

"EW! GET OFF OF ME!" I yelled, shoving him.
