It's been a couple of days since Soda broke my heart. I still haven't felt any emotions. The sparks that were there have been tossed into a deep, dark void, and will never be retrieved again.

I cannot grieve my feelings. They won't come back.

What happened to the sunshine, my happy, peppy, cheerful self has vanished.

And I don't know if I'll ever get myself back.

Sometimes it all just comes back—it's like a kaleidoscopic of memories. Sometimes, I think he's going to come back.

And the worst part wasn't losing him.

It was losing me.

Ponyboy patted my back. I looked at him.

"What are you doing?" I asked with a faint smile.

"I'm...patting your back," he said, softly.

Dallas stormed into the room. "Love bugs, lets go do somethin," He said while lighting a cancer stick and plopping it into his mouth.

I rolled my eyes. I grabbed Ponyboy's hand and shrugged.

"What do you guys wanna do?" I questioned, jumping from the top step.

"Lot," Dallas winked, and we started our 'journey'.

We headed towards the lot to see Two and Johnny sitting there playing a game of cards.

We all sat down and played truth or dare, since we really didn't have anything better to do.

"Violet, truth or dare?" Two asked, smirking at me.

I scrunched up my eyebrows and looked around.

"Dare."

Two-Bit nodded and gave a mischievous grin.

I turned to Johnny. "I regret that," I spoke.

He nodded and chuckled.

"I dare you, Violet Cliff, to have a make out session with either Ponyboy or Dallas," Two-Bit snickered.

"No way," I demanded, crossing my arms.

"Come on princess. It won't be so bad," Dallas said, making a kissy face.

"I'd rather eat glass than kiss Dallas Winston," I said, rolling my eyes.

He put his arm around me. "Fierce. Just the way I like em'." Come on doll, it won't be bad."

I protested for a couple of minutes until I agreed to kiss Ponyboy instead.

He lifted up his head and turned a bright shade of red.

"You don't have to if you don't want to," I told him.

"Someone's got the hots for Blondie..." Dally laughed.

I pushed Dallas.

"Leave him alone."

Dallas rolled his eyes.

Ponyboy nodded slowly and looked down.

"Now, if you would excuse us, boys. We have some very important matters to take care of," I stated, getting up and dusting off my jeans.

Dallas and Two groaned.

"How are we supposed to know if you actually kissed? Just do it here."

"Fine."

I leaned toward Ponyboy and set my lips on his. They were quite soft. I did feel a little spark like I used to do when I kissed someone who was named after a carbonated beverage, but not a major one.

I closed my eyes and our lips danced. You could hear a wave of oos and ahhs from behind us, but I ignored it.

I finally let go and I smiled at Ponyboy. He stared at me in disbelief and was really red.

I sat down and looked down, but I felt a little embarrassed, why, I did not know.
