Prom, here we come!
TOMMY'S POV
I can't believe I'm going to prom with Lorain! Oh! I've loved her since the day I laid eyes on her. Which was like 3 years ago, and I have never asked her! Boy am I a wimp.
And here I am, at her doorstep. Taking her to prom. Ok here I go. I knocked. "Hello? Lorain, it's Tommy." After a couple seconds, "One sec!". I heard her sweet voice ring in my ears.
Suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to see Matt. "Oh! Um Lorain lives here too?" He asked. "Yea. I'm picking her up. Are you picking up Ashley?" I asked. Matt nodded.
"Well you can knock on the door." I took a step back. Matt nodded and knocked on the door. "Ashley, it's Matt." We looked at each other.
After a couple seconds, the door opened. My heart stopped. There she was, in her beautiful ruby dress. She looked so... amazing! Her face turned bright red as she smiled.
"So. How do I look?" She asked. "You look...better than amazing!" I hugged her. "Ashley laughed. "Ok you two! Now go! We will be right behind you!"
Ashley pushed me and Lori out the door and smiled at Matt. He smiled back. "Ok! Bye Ashley! See you at prom!" Lori yelled. "Yea bye Matt bye Ashley!" I yelled. They waved goodbye as we walked to my silver mustang.
I opened the passenger door. "Me lady." I gestured my hand for Lori to get in. She laughed. "Why thank you sir." She got in laughing. I started laughing as I closed the door.
I quickly ran to the drivers side and got in. She was still laughing. I started laughing as well. "You are so beautiful. Do you know that?" I asked her. She stopped laughing. "Thank you, Tommy. And yes I do think I'm pretty." She looked me in the eyes.
"I love you, Tommy." She whispered. "I love you too. "I whispered back. "Tommy?" " Yes?" "Do you know Bailey?" "Yes why?" "When I asked you to prom, she was watching. She really likes you. So when she walked past me, she said that I would regret it."
"It's ok Lori I'm here." I whispered."I know. But, will you stay by my side, just incase?" She looked me in the eyes. "Of course. Anything for you." She smiled. "Ok let's get going!" She said excitedly. "Okay!"
