It was Matt. He came to save the day.
"Ashley! Lorain!" Matt quickly ran over to us. Ashley immediately put her arms around him and they kissed. When Matt let go of her he walked over to me. I quickly moved backwards away from his grasp.
He looked dumbfounded for a second, then realized what I was doing. He gently placed an arm around my shoulder, and I flinched. "Whoa. It's okay, Lorain. Your safe."
I replayed his words in my head. Your safe. Your safe. Your safe.
But I didn't feel safe. I felt really tired and broken. My heart is broken that I believed Tommy would actually like me. I am such a jackass for believing that.
"Lorain! Look out! Get away from her!" Matt yelled from putting Ashley in the backseat of his car.
I was so startled and shocked that I didn't realize Someone had grabbed my arms. I was so in shock I didn't move. All of a sudden, a very sharp pain stabbed in my abdomen.
"Ahhhhhhh!" I screamed in pain. I covered my abdomen as blood gushed out. The arm that held me let me go and I fell to the ground. I fell on my knees, the pavement cutting them.
When I rolled over to my side, I saw who it was.
What the fuck?!
