I sat up, not opening my eyes.
"She's awake."
"Myrtle.."
"Uh.. Myrtle?"
I opened my eyes with fury, seeing Harold, Roger, Lucas and Diane. I was sitting in a comfy bed but I'm still mad."I said not to heal me fool!" I yelled. that could have gotten to the courtyard.
"Well.. I.." Harold tried to say.
"That was my decision."
I looked over to the door frame, my eyes filled with pure anger. Tyler was there leaning against it, his body full of bandages and band aids."I said. Don't heal me! WHAT PART'S SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND?!" I yelled, then jumped off the bed holding his neck but I felt pain shoot into my body.
I was about to fall when Tyler caught me.
"The part why you want to die." He said.
His face was all serious. He looked over to the gang, "I'll take her to her room, she doesn't like it here."
Without even hearing their protests, Tyler left with me in his arms, bridal style. I wanted to punch him so hard, he'll dissolve just like Jandira. But I didn't have energy left to fight, only to stay awake."Don't talk. You'll faint again." He said not looking at me.
I would shout and all, but he was right. I'll use up all my energy if I do that. So I grudgingly stayed silent as he carried my almost lifeless body to my room.
Many princesses gave me glares and gasps when they saw me, but Tyler glared at them and they went back to their businesses. We reached my room and he placed me on my bed. He kept silent as he sat on a chair beside me."Why'd you fucking heal me, dumb ass?" I groaned.
"Because, seeing how... Jameine died.. I cannot afford to see another life lost in front of me." He said silently, but since we were the only ones in this room, I could hear him clearly.
"I am nothing to no one but trouble. No one would even dare save me. Why did you do it?" I asked.
He sighed, "Because even though your attitude's like that I still.." he hesitated. "Just rest, I'll let Harold take care of you."
He then stood and walked out. I could barely move so I fell asleep, I hate this!I woke with a start to something cold on my lips.
"Myrtle, your awake."
Harold was feeding me with soup, it was still dark outside and my balcony was open. I tried to sit, but my head ached."Jeez, it's freezing." I said.
He placed a blanket over me, then stood.
"Sorry I took so long. Tyler just didn't want anyone to go near you yet." Harold said."Why? I'm not worth protecting and I do not like protecting." I replied.
"Maybe he finds you very special."
I scoffed, "If he finds a quicksand special, then he's damaged."
Harold chuckled, "Sarcasms, huh?"
He took one spoonful of soup and fed me, I was hungry so I just let it happen."So, how are you feeling?" Harold asked as he set the empty bowl at side.
I wiped my lips then sat up, feeling better."Ugh, better I guess." I stood and nearly lost balance, but Harold caught me. I slowly walked up to the balcony. The cold wind blasted to my face. Then Harold walked up behind me.
"Something wrong?" He asked.
"Pfft. Shut up, Jackson. I'm gonna go for a walk, you should sleep." I replied still watching the vast gardens. I could see blue and white glittering from the White Gs(White Garden).
I looked back at Harold, "Sleep. What are you waiting for Jackson?"He opened his arms, "I know I can't get a thank you from you. But at least a hug? It soothes my wanting for appreciation. You can go on and call me spoiled, but I just want that hug."
I gave him a clod glare, but he still didn't budge, so I sighed and gave him a hug. He smelled my hair, then pulled away.
"Sleep." I said.
He chuckled, "Good night, Myrtle." Then he walked out of my room.
I turned around and jumped off the balcony. As always, I used the giant flag of Olympus Prep as my rope, then I walked calmly to the White Gs. I opened the white doors, and the room was filled with white roses. I went to the center and plucked the only rose that was different. It was white, but with blue stripes.
"Well, well, well, Milady." A familiar voice said behind me, I turned and saw Gray, in black slacks, white polo and a brown scarf around his neck. His hands were in his pockets and he just stood there smirking slightly.
"You look wonderful, considering that sickness you have." He added.
I was only wearing a white crop top, but I tied it to the side, then black jeans with gold chains on each pocket, paired with black ankle boots. My hair was left loose, but it still looked awesome because it was combed, obviously cause I wouldn't look this good at all.
"Blue dragon rose. How'd you know how they work?" I asked.
He came closer, "Well, I know that they're your favorite so I thought of getting your attention."
I sighed, "What do you want Gray?""Your presence is enough, sweet Myrtle. I only wish to visit you, remember our deal?"
I scoffed, "Whatever. If I'm like this, then there's no point in visiting me."
I turned and went to outside. But on my way, Gray caught up with me."When I say I like you, I really like you. Your attitude's got nothing to do with this, but your personality." He stopped me on my tracks and stood in front of me.
"Out of my way, Gray." I growled.
"No. Not unless, you like- love me back."
"Are you serious? I don't even love my parents. How much more when you're nothing to me."
I tried to walk but he stopped me again."Do not make this complicated, Myrtle." He warned.
"I'm a troublemaker. What do you expect?"
He held my chin, but I shook it away."No." I said firmly.
He snapped his fingers, and then I couldn't move.
"Gray.." I warned.
But he only got closer and closer until our lips were inches apart, it's not really a big deal if he kisses me, the only thing is, it's gross if I can't move and I kiss people, I don't let other people do that to me.
"What are you doing?" I heard somebody growled.Gray looked behind him, and his magic on me vanished.
"Oh, it's you." Gray said."Tyler. What are you doing out here?" I asked.
"I should be asking you the same thing." Tyler faced Gray. "You came for Myrtle?"
Gray smirked, "We made a deal."
"You took part of the fight with Jandira."
"Huh? What do you mean?" I asked."This guy, was invisible. You sent the arai and minotaur to us." Tyler said still glaring at Gray.
I crossed my arms, "This is true, I suppose?"
"Jameine's gone, because of him. I don't- like you either, Myrt. Why would I make him look bad for you."
I punched Gray's shoulder which made him lose balance and fell to the ground."Don't ever come back, weirdo." Then I stormed off to my room.
