We went to the carriage that will take us to Devalor. I laid on my seat while making a number four with my legs. Cal and Gray sat right in front of me, while Harold and Tyler sat next to the window facing the door. I was playing with my dagger and a stick. Making the stick sharper.
"Is she really a princess?" I hear Cal ask Harold.
"She is. She just.. doesn't entirely.. act like it." Harold replied.
"She could be a riot sometimes. I mean, she could seriously make riots." Tyler commented.
A mischievous smirk grew across my face, I sat up.
"Are princes seriously this anxious?" I asked.
No one answered. I rolled my eyes and laid back down.
"How long is it gonna take to get to Devalor?" Harold asked.
"Probably-" I started.
"30 minutes." Gray said.
I looked at him and he smirked.
"How do you know that?" Harold asked.
"He has escorted me back to my room before, from prison." I answered.
Cal looked surprised.
"You mean, you have been to a prison before?"
I sat up and felt head rush but I just leaned to my chair.
"Been to?" I scoffed, "I've been there a lot than my own room in our Kingdom."
Cal had an amused expression on his face."Finally!" I yelled in triumph as we made it in the gates of Devalor Castle.
I grabbed my backpack and ruffled my hair a bit then walked to the entrance for the people. A guard stopped me in my tracks.
"Name?" He asked.
I scoffed, "Very Funny, Angelo. Let me through."
He smiled, "Haven't changed, I see."
"Like hell I would."
His gaze went behind me and he frowned."Who are those guys? Your boyfriends?"
"Ew, no. I'm contented with myself, why would I need a boyfriend?" I said."So who are they?"
I looked at the boys behind me with a smirk, then back at Angelo.
"My underlings. Now, let us through." I said.
He nodded then opened the wooden door.
The place was the same as usual except it was more festive. Many children and people were strolling around carrying balloons, flags of different kingdoms. We walked our way through the crowd and headed for the Castle."Why is the United Festival held here in your kingdom? Why not Ignitia? It's more famous, and the yard is as big as this." Gray asked beside me.
"Exactly. Ignitia is too famous. It has too many sources, anything can happen. Devalor is big alright, but it's safe." I said."Are you saying my kingdom isn't safe?" Tyler asked.
I looked at him over my shoulder, "Yes that's exactly what I mean."
We made it to the front door which was closed. I looked around and waited.
"So are we just gonna stand here? Because I don't think we can take the crowd." Harold said.
I turned and saw a bunch of girls behind them trying to look cute, giving the free samples of anything, or trying to get kisses or whatever.
I sighed and went to them, "Scram!"The girls flew back and went away from us yelling, "She's back! Run! Go Hide! We're sorry!"
The front doors then opened revealing Queen Lea.
"Myrtle. My dear daughter you're back!" She exclaimed.
She came to me for a hug but I only leaned to her, then she pulled away and frowned.
"I thought for sure you would change even a bit at this time. What are you wearing?"
I rolled my eyes, "Your highness, this is Gray Hazeldine of Triptolemus. Calvin Arrington II of Micis. Harold Jackson of Weston and.. Tyler Sanchez of Ignitia."Queen Lea gasped and regained composure. The boys bowed down respectfully. :"Your highness."
"You are taking care of them I suppose?" She asked."Yeah. Can we go to our rooms?" I asked.
"I'm afraid, we are out of rooms, you know the rules. Only your room is available."
I grumbled, "Fine! We'll stay there. But no curfew, or else I'd mess up a kingdom tonight."
"Okay, okay. No curfew for the time-being that you are here."
I flashed her a grin and stepped inside. The boys followed. The place was so busy, there were my maids, butlers running or fast walking around like crazy, but I just kept on walking straight."Why is it so busy and what does your mom mean when she said the rules?" Cal asked.
"Every United Festival, some kingdoms would sleep here. Apparently all rooms are booked. So you guys are stuck in my room for the next 3 days." I replied.
"That's cool." Gray commented.
We reached a room of perfect white doors. I opened it and revealed a clean room but messy walls. Everything looked like it was supposed to be white. White tiles, white bed, white and red pillows and white ceilings. But the walls were filled with graffiti. I threw my bag on my bed and shuffled my stuff inside it, I took one black spray paint.
I went to one empty wall shook the can and sprayed it saying "I'm not cute. I'm punk rock."After that, I threw my can away and laid on my bed ruffling my hair.
"You're room is so cool." Harold said.
I was feeling really hot so I went to my closet.
"Oh, you guys can like do whatever you want. Just call me if there's a riot or anything like that."
I went inside leaving my door open then changed into white off-shoulders shirt, and black ripped jeans with black ankle boots. I turned and saw Cal.
"You should close the doors when you change." He grabbed my waist and I was now inches away from his face. I didn't move but only made a smirk. He was slowly closing the gaps between our faces when someone cleared his throat behind Cal.
Cal grumbled and spun with his hand still around my waist. It was Gray.
"You guys just met, and now you're attempting to make out?" Gray growled.
I chuckled, "Not my choice, Treque."
I walked away from Cal and past Gray.
It was getting dark and I saw Tyler outside the balcony staring down below the festival while Harold was sitting on my Recliner reading a book.
"I'm gonna go, down to the festival. You guys coming or what?" I asked.
Tyler looked at me, "I'm in."
"Me too." Harold said as he closed his book and stood.
"We're both in." Cal said as he and Gray stepped out of my giant closet.I made a half-smile, "Then let's go."
