I paced back and forth in the living room. I wanted to show lizzy how to fight. But i didnt know how to. I mean was she even ready for fight?

One thing that i knew was that Cole would be with us when we fight. And i knew how Andrew was so proud of his son. In that matter i almost hoped that i had a boy instead of a girl. But i knew that lizzy was strong.

Stronger than she ever thought she would be. I just hoped that she wouldnt be angry when she found out what her role will be in the cooming war with the packs.

I still remember how angry she had been when i told her what my true business was. I knew that some people had animal rights and were vegeteranians. But lizzy was no vegeteranian. Hearing the front door open i turned around as Lizzy came in.

"Hey sweetie. Why so late today?" I asked.
"Nothing daddy. Can i go to my room? I am tired," lizzy said.
"Did something happen?" I asked, holding her arm.
"I had an argument with cole," she said.

I raised an eyebrow at that. An argument? That too with cole? For how much i knew lizzy she had never once argued with anyone let alone cole. Cole and lizzy had known each other for quite a long time since andrew and i have been best friends.

"You had never had an argument lizzy," i said
"I know dad but what cole said didnt sit well with me," lizzy said.
"What did he say?" I asked.
"He said i cant make new friends. Well not directly but he meant that," she said.
I frowned as i said, "what did you say?"
"He wanted me to sit with him but the new kids at school wanted me to sit with them," she said.
"You befriended the new kids?" I asked.
"Yes dad i did. They are really nice dad not like everybody else thinks," she said
"Thats good. Are there any guys?" I asked.

I didnt like the fact that lizzy's new friends would be boys. I didnt want anyone to lay a hand on my daughter.

"Yes dad but they all have girlfriends," lizzy said.
"Well thats good to hear," i said relieved.
"I will be in my room dad," she said.
"Wait lizzy. I want to show you something," i said.
"What dad?" She asked.
"I want to introduce you to my field of business," i said.
"You mean the wolf hunting dad? I dont want to be a part of that dad. Its not right to kill innocent animals," she said.

I felt anger at what lizzy said. Cant she see why i wanted to introduce her to my field? To the hunting experience. I wanted her to be included like andrew had imcluded cole. I wanted to experience the same feeling of pride as andrew does while speaking of cole.

"Look i know how you feel but dont you get it? You are going to be included in the hunt lizzy. The hunt! You should feel honoured about it," i said.
"Whats there to feel honored about dad? You are killing innocent animals!" She exclaimed
"They are not animals lizzy," i sighed.
"Then what are they dad?" She asked.
"They are werewolves," i revealed.

Lizzy's eyes grew wide at my statement. Was she feeling scared or shocked? I didnt know.

"W-werewolves? They dont exist dad!" Lizzy exclaimed
"They do exist sweetie and thats what killed your grandmother meaning my mom," i said.

Even after all these years i felt anger. Anger at what these creatures had done. And anger at myself that i didnt knew about werewolves when i should have been on my toes all the time. Perhaps if i had known beforehand that these creatures existed then everything would have been different.

"Grandmother was killed by werewolves?" Lizzy asked.
"Yes. They are beasts lizzy. They arent even humans and thus shouldnt even live. They should be killed," i said angrily.
"But that doesnt mean that all these creatures are bad," lizzy said.
"You dont know anything lizzy. I dont want you to feel unsafe not knowing what lurks in the shadows," i sighed.

Lizzy pursed up her lips at my words.

"Ok dad. I will learn how to fight."

I couldnt help but grin at lizzy's words as i pulled her into a hug.

"Thats my girl!"

So lizzy is going to learn how to fight! Who's side is she on? Cyrus or her dad?

Any feedback would be wonderful!
