I rubbed my temples as i heard yelling. This was the third time in a row. I was getting sick of it. Getting out of bed i walked down the stairs to see what the chaos was all about.

The sight i saw made my wolf surface. I couldnt hold him back. Our wolves were beastly. The slightest provokation ccould bring them to the surface. And right now my wolf was very much provokated.

My little sister Catlin was pressed up in a corner while dad howered over her. She was begging him to let go of her. Me and my wolf couldnt hold back any longer and then i lunged farword.

In my state i looked like a beast. An angry beast. My ears were pointed. I had fur sprouting over half of my body. My teeth were elongated into fangs. My nails elongated into claws. I was in the middle of transformation. But i couldnt let my wolf take full control yet. God forbid what would happen if my wolf completely took over.

My claws gripped his shirt and yanked him around to face me. He let out a gasp but i could care less. Right now i loathed him. I wished that he wasnt my mom's mate. I would have killed him in an instant.

"You think this beastly face would make me stop?" He sneered
"If you werent my mom's mate you would have been dead long ago," i snarled
"You beasts just think that you would have advantage over everything but you dont. You are weak from the inside," he sneered

I threw him across the kitchen and he fell with a thud to the floor. I stalked up to him and picked him up by the scruff of his collar.

"You disgust me!" I spat
"So that means you hate your sister as well," he smirked

I looked back towards Catlin who wore an expression of hurt on her face. I dont hate her. I could never hate her. I mean just because she was born a human doesnt meant that it was her entire fault.

"No. I only hate scumbags like you," i sneered.
"Watch how you talk to your dad, mutt," he glared at me.

I growled loudly at the word 'mutt.' It was an offensive name to us wolves.

"You are no parent of mine! I will tell mom how you beat your children up!" I snarled
"I can do whatever i want with them! You cant control me!" He shot back.
"Oh yeah? Watch what you say old man. You might want to take a rain check," i spat in his face.

I could smell Catlin's fear so i let go of him. I didnt want her to become afraid of me. I was the only one who could protect her. I let go of him and took deep calming breaths. I slowly felt my wolf receed into my mind and me becoming more human.

"Leave before i actually kill you."

My voice was deep and manly. My wolf was still just on the edge. He scampered out of the kitchen and i heard the front door slam shut. I took deep calming breaths before turning to face Catlin. I didnt want my baby sister to be afraid of me.

"Where did he hurt you?" I asked
"He just put a hot pan over my arm," Catlin stuttered, looking down.

I muttered a few curse words and walked up to Catlin.

"Let me see," i said softly

After tending to Catlin's bruise i called my younger brother Collin.

"Can you come back home? I need to go to the pack house for some business," i said

I didnt want to leave Catlin alone. Especially not when he would come home again.

"Did anything happened?" Collin asked.
"I took care of it," i said
"Ok i am coming right back," he said

I hung up the phone and turned back to Catlin. She was sitting on the couch watching a film. As a 13 year old girl she was into chick lits and all those girly things. I sat down next to her and watched the movie. A few minutes later i realized that she was watching a 'fault in our stars.'

When Collin arrived i nodded at him to look after Catlin before walking out of the house. My wolf was still not under control. And it wouldnt be a surprise if he attacked anyone at first sight.

I walked into the new forest and sniffed around. Being in a new place sure didnt help. I wasnt familiar with the paths or the smells or sounds. I shifted into my blonde wolf.

My bones popped and made weird noises as i shifted. Once fully transformed into my wolf i twitched my ears. I wiggled my body so the dirt could leave my blonde fur.

I then took off on my run. I needed to do something to let my anger simmer down before i did something i would regret later on. And running seemed like the best option available. I couldnt go into town though since it was inhabited by the humans.

Which sucked big time let me tell you. We couldnt roam freely however we wanted to. We didnt want the humans to know about our existance. We were already having too many problems on our hands. And humans were a part of that.

Feedback would be highly appreciated! :)
