Chapter 32

Lizzy

Practicing arrow shooting wasnt an easy task. But i think that i got the gist of it. I actually quite liked arrow  shooting. I think i was going to be really good at arrow shooting. And maybe i could use it to help cyrus.

Yes he told me about his sister gone missing. It had been two weeks since his sister Catlin had disappeared. I just hoped that she was allright. Cyrus had been coming and going to my house almost every day. And no not through the window.

I had told mom and dad about cyrus and they think that all we do in our room is study. I have been distancing myself from cole. His intentions towards me was becoming too known and possessive. Besides if i told dad what cyrus was he would kill him in an instant.

I have become too involved with cyrus to actually see anyone else. I knew he was the only male person in my life to actually love me unconditionally. But what i was afraid of was that would his pack accept me? Would his pack accept a human amongst them?

A human who came to know of their existance by accident? And what was i going to tell mom and dad? I had lied all this time but now i couldnt just lie to them. This was because cyrus was adamant about me getting introduced into the pack. More like the first day of school where you introduce yourself in all classes.

My thoughts were interrupted when i felt a sudden piercing pain in my neck. I groaned in pain and clutched my neck. What the hell was that?

I hope the pain wasnt too difficult. I wanted to go with dad tonight. I wanted to help cyrus and his pack.

We had finally made our attack on the Lupine pack. It was a surprise attack. And nobody would have suspected it to be me in charge. They all thought that i didnt knew anything about the world. They thought i was a lowlife. Yeah right.

They had made my life a living hell. Not only mine but my daughter's life as well. I couldnt bare to see her live a miserable life where she wasnt accepted. And to think that our daughter wasnt kidnapped.

In fact she was too easy to manipulate into doing what i wanted. I just had to sugar coat my words and she was all too happy to oblige and make me happy. The arrangement was simple.

"Its time guys," i said.

My daughter looked up from where she was sitting.

"You know what you have to do right? Stand on the wall and yell that you are going to kill yourself," i said.
"But what if nobody pays me any attention?" She asked
"Oh dont worry. Everybodys going to be paying you attention of that little stunt," Chase said.
"While they are distracted we'll attack and win," i said.

My statement earned me a round of applause. The stage was going to be set. Tonight. With blood.

Cyrus

Giovanni had called us in for a pack meeting today. What with all the killings and Catlins disappearance we had a lot to discuss about as a pack. We were in the middle of the meeting when a voice rang above everybody else.

"Hey!"

Since i was standing at the front with giovanni i only had to see who was speaking as everybody turned around. There was catlin standing on the wall. Catlin! She was all right! But what was she doing on top of the wall?

"Catlin!" Mom cried from the crowd as she rushed towards her.
"Stay back!" Catlin warned.

Mom stopped mid-way and i watched horrified as catlin showed a knife against her throat.

"Dont come near me!" Catlin cried.
"Catlin what are you doing?" I asked.

I knew what she was trying to do. Suicide. But i wanted to know why. Collin, mom and i all loved her. If she was feeling any pressure then she would have told one of us. We are her family.
