Dark Lily ran her fingers along the long line of bottled potions. All of them shone with a luminescence that brightened Regina's darkened crypt ever so slightly. Many of them contained peculiar objects such as a golden flower and a cat's tail, among many other ingredients. She breathed in the stench that the basement had brought: a thick earthy musk filled her lungs. She walked over to the corner next to the shelves where there were small shards of glass, reminiscent of the bottled tornado that was unleashed merely a few months ago by Lily and Henry.
"My, the days have gone past." She said aloud. "I remember when this small pile of shards used to be a thundering and swirling hurricane." She approached closer and looked lovingly upon the small pile. Carefully she picked up a larger piece of glass and ran her fingers along the edge, "But look at it now: small, weak, and just a mess," She again stood and set the glass shard upon one of the higher shelves. Dark Lily strolled over to the witches brew and she saw that within the large iron pot were opaque blue drops that were left over from the magical locator spell Regina had cast. The Dark Lily scooped a bit of this potion and laid it in a droplet on her index finger, admiring its simplicity. Holding her hand over the cauldron with the small liquid orb balancing on her finger, she summoned a thick cloud of dark smoke to swirl both around her hand and the cauldron. When the smoke cleared, it revealed the same mist that Regina had created just moments before. In the mist a wand could be seen, the Blue Fairy's wand in particular.
"So they are trying to return Henry back to his body. This could be quite problematic..." She thought to herself. "I need to stop them from taking back the heart of the truest believer, or Peter will be finished!" Promptly she pulled another smaller cauldron off of the shelves above and began loading her arms with ingredients and various potions by the dozen. "A little of this," She grabbed the cat's tail bottle and threw it in the cauldron. "A swish of that.." She poured a considerable amount of violet liquid out of the bottle labeled Raven's Blood. Her indigo eyes sparkled with excitement as she mixed and merged these dark ingredients. As she fiddled with her potions, Pan in Henry's body walked down the steps into the crypt and saw The Dark Lily frantically grabbing flasks off the shelves.
"I see that you're busy at work," A sarcasm in his voice was apparent. He pulled one of the many spell books off of the shelves next to the entryway and flipped through the pages with a cocky demeanor.
The Dark Lily turned to him with a nearly psychotic look in her eyes, "We need to create corpse revival potions." She quickly turned back to her brew and dropped a golden flower petal into the bubbling pot.
"What do you mean 'corpse revival'?" Pan looked at her with a confused glare. "What does that have to do with you usurping your throne?" His brow yet again furrowed as he became impatient.
"First off, you and I both know that we have to wait until the full moon which is two days from now when the previous book will expire," She dropped in a pinch of dust from a corpse. Dark Lily then looked over her shoulder with a malicious grin, "Besides, I can't just let Henry get away with returning to the body with the heart of the truest believer, now can I?"
Pan sauntered over totally smitten, "You my lady are delightfully wicked." He went to go peck her on the cheek but she stopped him, "Not now. Not when we've got work to do." She composed herself and walked over to the fireplace where she would hang the pot with the revival potion and reignited the blue tinted fire. "Now we've got to find Henry, destroy his chance of returning to your body, and make sure no one else gets in our way." The Dark Lily walked over and hung the pot containing the potion over the scorching fire on the spit hooks found in the fireplace. The pot started to puff and smoke and soon a large blast could be heard from inside the closed cauldron. Dark Lily removed it from the fire, placed it onto the concrete floor, and opened it carefully. Inside was a grotesque green liquid that had a swamp gas- like stench. "Peter, go and fetch Felix's corpse. He might be dead, but his allegiance to you still lives."
