A mysterious girl, a town called Storybrooke, an uncanny friendship, a lost boy bent on power, and a hidden evil bubbling under the surface.
Lily lived for as long as she could remember in a town called Storybrooke. Strangely enough, she has no memo...
"Your highness you must rest for the battle ahead." Pan walked beside the Book of Darkness formerly known as Lily. She wore a long gown that moved like shadows down a darkened hall. Her hair, now the color of a raven's plume, glided across the forest floor as it had grown longer in the transition. The only indication of her previous self were the few streaks of silver hair that hid between the ebony curls.
"I do not need rest lad. I have gained all my energy back already from that girl. Unlike the others I've inhabited, she is determined, very determined to save someone. This determination was a most excellent source of energy."
"You have inhabited others, my lady?" Pan's eyes glinted with malevolence, he was so close to becoming the figurehead of the next story.
"Darkness lies within all stories." Pan stared at her perplexed. "I am the darkness. I am her, she is me. We are the two sides of the story. All of the stories in the past had this potential. Once the old book expires, I will take its place, only with a new spin on the old stories." The Book of Darkness chuckled darkly. "If you would like, you may still call me Lily as I haven't changed my form, just my magical energy."
Pan stopped in his tracks contemplating what he'd just heard. When he was a boy he was told tales and legends about the heart of the story, but he'd never thought that this would be the reality of things. "So are you or aren't you the Lily known in Storybrooke?" He asked angrily. "Or is that girl going to overtake your weak form?" He didn't want a mere idea change to get in the way of his plans.
The Dark Lily glided toward him aggressively, "Don't you dare question my ways lad! If I wanted to I could turn even you to dust, so you better curb your tongue. Just because I am no longer the girl does not mean that I forget what you did to this body. You nearly killed both of us and I will not hesitate to torture you in anyway I can if I get the chance. The body and the heart of the truest believer you hold doesn't in anyway protect you from my wrath."
Pan recalled the time in Neverland where he tried to kill Lily. He had driven a dagger through her chest which filled her lungs with blood. If it had not been for Henry's miracle, she would've died in Neverland. For the first time in many years he felt the fear of what he had unleashed replace his arrogance. The Dark Lily began to walk again and he followed close behind.
They walked for what seemed like miles out of the forest and into the graveyard. "Stop here." The Dark Lily held up her hands and signaled for Pan to stop walking.
"Why do we stop here my lady?" Pan asked
"Look ahead of you," She pointed ahead to Regina's crypt where Emma, Henry in Pan's body, Regina, and Gold were standing. "They seem to be trying to figure out how to transfer Henry back to his body." She watched the party open the vault, trying to discover what their plans were, "Hide yourself you fool," The Dark Lily whispered to Pan and cast an invisibility spell over herself and Pan did the same. Almost as if Gold sensed the spell he turned and looked about as if trying to pierce through the veil of invisibility.
"Is someone else there?" He called out to the forest. Emma, Henry, and Regina turned around.
"Gold did you see something?" Regina inquired as she opened the door to the crypt.
"I thought I did, but we'd better keep moving." Gold said suspiciously
Henry in Pan's body scanned his eyes across the trees. Without his knowledge The Dark Lily had been looking at him the whole time and when they made eye contact she felt a sharp pain in her chest. They all walked inside the crypt just as The Dark Lily could bear to be quiet no longer.
"Ow," she whined as she fell to the ground. The invisibility spell vanished and Pan cupped his hand over her mouth as she began to whimper from the pain.
"My lady, are you alright?" Pan asked. He released his hand when he saw that the group was in the crypt.
As the pain subsided the Dark Lily composed herself, "I am fine. I do not know what came over me," A lightning white lock of long, curly hair corrupted the onyx colored plume next to her face.
"My lady you never told me why exactly we arrived here. If...if she led you here-"
"That's enough!" She snapped. She stomped her feet into the ground like a petulant child,"That girl is locked away and I am in control!" The Dark Lily spotted a small brown rabbit hopping through the trees. "You see that rabbit?" She asked.
"I don't understand what you are getting at," Pan's brow started to furrow.
"Do you see that rabbit?"
"We are wasting time!" Pan said sharply.
The Dark Lily turned red with anger at this and shot a ball of black light toward the bunny and it fell over, dead. She breathed heavily, "I am in control, am I not?"
"Again I ask why we are here,"
"Do not dodge the question, slave. Now am I in control or not?"
"Slave?" Pan's eyes turned ruby red through Henry's. He pinned The Dark Lily up to a tree, "I was the one who could have killed you back there. I went along with your barking threats, but I could still kill you even now before you become the next story!"
"And all your work would've been for naught," The Dark Lily mocked.
"I don't need you." Pan sneered. "That girl is still inside you, alive and kicking. I don't need you or your threats. I can take over Storybrooke myself!"
"Can you now? Why didn't you when you had the chance?" She chuckled darkly. "Or maybe you were just. too. weak." He pulled out his dagger from Henry's pocket and pressed it against her throat and drew a little blood.
"You can't can you?" The Dark Lily laughed insanely. "Peter Pan never fails." He removed his dagger and kissed The Dark Lily passionately. Silence hung in the air for a moment as they embraced.
"A little darkness is healthy now and then." The Dark Lily laughed as she pulled away from the kiss. "Now then, shall we begin the demise of Storybrooke?" "Of course, my lady." They watched as the group left the vault with the real Henry in toe. "Now what was it that we came here for?" "We need to make sure that this dear family doesn't intrude on our plans. A few potions and poisons'll do the trick nicely." She laughed darkly. "So my dear Peter, now begins the final act and curtains will close for this town called Storybrooke."

I am so, so sorry for all this crazy editing I was doing. I shortened some of the chapters to make it a bit easier to read and I also added some better music with the chapters. I hope you liked this chapter and I personally can't wait to see how this story unfolds.
P.S. Are you team DarkPeter or LightHenry? (Dark Lily x Peter Pan or Light Lily x Henry?)
