Forget You

I quickly left the room without making a sound. As I walked out, I saw Tae Hyung flirting with a nurse which is very normal to me. I'm not surprised. I just kept walking out of the hospital.

There's no chance of me being with Casey when they're now together. Their relationship is strong. Too strong.

A few weeks later...

"I'm so glad that you're back." I could hear Jimin's voice from the corridor, outside my room.

Casey is finally back home. Dad heard about the bad guys threatening our family. He stopped Casey from tutoring me since he wanted her to rest. He felt bad that Casey had to be involved in our family affairs. He allowed her to stay in our house until she goes to Harvard. Basically, he's gonna treat her like his own daughter.

As I was leaving my room to get something to eat from the kitchen, my eyes met with Casey's. "Great to see you, Kookie oppa!" she greeted me with a bright smile on her face. I just gave a slight nod and walked past her. I could hear Jimin saying, "It's okay, Case. Maybe he just had a bad day."

I don't really care anymore whether I hurt her feelings or not. It doesn't matter to me anymore. SHE doesn't matter to me anymore.

Casey's POV

I'm so happy that Jimin & I are back together. I hated him but I still love him. For the past few weeks, I had been missing his presence. Now, I'm just thankful to have him by my side.

It's great to be back in the Park household. I quickly went straight up to my room with Jimin following behind. As soon as I saw Jung Kook, I greeted him with a huge smile on my face but he only gave me a slight nod which was unlike him. I think Jimin saw the frown on my face because he then said, "It's okay, Case. Maybe he just had a bad day." When Jimin said that, I saw Jung Kook stopped in his steps for awhile before continue walking away.

I know that what I did to him back at the hospital was wrong. I must have given him the wrong idea. I must have given him hopes. I know that he liked me but I don't like him. I like Jimin. I mean, I love Jimin. His brother. I just wanted to let him know that I still need him in my life. As a pal. As my partner in crime. I should really talk to him soon. Maybe tonight. Alone.

"I can't believe that my dad is gonna sponsor your school fees at Harvard. You don't have to worry about money & you'll be able make your parents' dream come true! They must be really proud of you." said Jimin as he hugged me so tight that I could barely breathe.

"He..ey.. I won't be able to go to Harvard if you're gonna suffocate me to death, you know." Jimin let go of me while giving me a sheepish smile.

"I just can't believe that I'll be able to go to Harvard with you, Tae Hyung...& Jung Kook." As Jung Kook's name left my mouth, my smile started to falter a little.

When it was late night, I texted Jung Kook:

Hey, we need to talk. Meet at the café nearby. Please come. See you, Kookie oppa.
