Nobody is Perfect

Casey's POV

The day has ended & here I am waiting for Jung Kook by the school gate. He insisted that we go home together just in case I get into another incident. Let me just tell you that I'm so frustrated with myself. Bad things always happen to me.

"Sorry I am late. I was busy helping my classmate with school work." Jung Kook gave an apologetic smile.

"It's okay, I was also busy. I was counting the number of ants crawling on the ground." I said sarcastically. Both of us ended up laughing. He then pushed me playfully.

As we were walking home, we came across an ice cream shop. We looked at each other & smiled. It's like we were using telepathy. We quickly ran into the shop like fools. He ordered the classic chocolate ice cream while I ordered a lemon sorbet.

"Why would you order sorbet in an ice cream shop?" He asked as we left the shop.

"Well, it's refreshing & healthier."

"Everyone knows that the more unhealthy it is, the tastier the food is."

I just rolled my eyes. I glanced at Jung Kook & saw that he was about to lick his ice cream but before he could do that, I pushed his ice cream on his nose. After that, I quickly took off.

"Dude, can you not!?! Come back here!" He chased me without wiping the ice cream on his nose.

He chased me until we're at the doorsteps of our house.

"I guess you guys had fun?" Jimin asked as he opened the door. "You guys were so noisy that Taehyung & I could hardly watch Hwarang in peace."

"I want to watch too!" Jung Kook & I shouted in unison as we ran into the house & jumped on the sofa beside Taehyung.

As soon as the last episode ended, my eyes slowly started to close but was awakened by Taehyung's loud voice.

"Wa~ that actor who played Hansung is really handsome... and his acting is amazing. He's my fav." Taehyung commented. He then nudged me but I didn't bother & went to sleep.

The next morning...

I woke up & found myself on my bed. How? Who? When? What? How did I get here? Did someone carry me or did I just sleep walk? Who carried me? I checked my phone & it was 8 in the morning. I'm so lucky that today's Saturday or else I would be late for school.

Suddenly, the smell of pancakes filled my room. I quickly ran down the stairs.

"Did I smell pancakes!?!?!" I yelled as I came running down the stairs. Everyone was already at the table but not eating.

"Finally! You're awake. I thought we had to starve ourselves." Jung Kook exclaimed sarcastically while shaking his head.

"Well, you should've just went ahead without me." I answered back.

"I didn't want to be rude." He answered.

"Aren't you always rude?" I asked playfully. But before he could talk back, Jimin cut him off.

"Stop! Now you guys tell me how was the test yesterday." said Jimin.

"It was great! It was so easy. Only some questions were tricky. I'm confident that I can get at least 25 out of 30." Jung Kook said with confidence.

"Good job! How about you, Case?" Jimin asked. Everyone turned to look at me. Even Taehyung looked up from his phone.

"It was okay..." I said.

"Did you have any difficulties in it? It's okay. You can let us know." Jimin assured me while holding my hand.

"We can help you if you have an issue." Taehyung added.

"I froze at the first half of the paper." I admitted in the end.

"Why didn't you tell me? I thought you were okay." said Jung Kook with worry shown on his face.

"You were so happy. I was embarrassed because I used to be your tutor but you seemed to have done better than me."

"Just because you were his tutor, doesn't mean that you find any trouble in the test. Everyone is not perfect. It's possible for teachers to have some issue in the questions. They're all humans anyways. We are all humans. Sometimes even I have some issues. You must be stressed that's why you froze. You should relax a little." Said Jimin.

"I know how to make you less stressed. You love singing, right? We have a karaoke machine here. We can just sing our hearts out." Taehyung suggested.

"Let's eat first. I'm so hungry." Said Jung Kook.
