Casey's POV

I waited at the café near the window, staring into blank space while trying to think of what I should say to Jung Kook. I really hope that he shows up. I don't want to drag this any longer.

An hour has passed. I've drank a cup of black tea & a few glasses of ice water already. The waitress at the café was giving me weird looks for the past hour. The café was getting ready to close. When I realised that it was getting super late, I stood up from my seat & left the café. As I was walking to the house, a man came walking towards me. He reeked of alcohol so obvious he was drunk.

"Hey, why is a pretty girl like you doing, alone at this hour?" The drunk man said as he tried to stand upright properly. I quickly ignored him & walked away at a faster pace.

"Ya! I'm talking to you!" He may be drunk but he sure was fast as he chased after me. I knew he was getting closer as I can smell alcohol getting stronger and stronger. Before I knew it, he caught me by grabbing hold of my shoulder from behind. I shut my eyes really tight as I was afraid something like the time two men tried to rape me, would happen again.

"Hey, back off. She's mine." I heard a familiar voice near me. I felt the drunk guy removing his hand from my shoulder. I turned & saw Jung Kook giving him a death glare. Jung Kook had messy hair. His outfit looked like he got into a dog fight. Did he? "Get lost." He didn't even shout at the drunk man. He looked very tired & worn out. The drunk man walked closer to Jung Kook to get a closer look at him. When he realised that Jung Kook was bigger in size compared to him, he turned & walked away, acting cool when it was actually obvious that he was scared of Jung Kook.

Jung Kook turned to me & shook his head before walking away from me, towards the house. I ran to him, "Hey, what took you so long!?! Did you get into a fight? We need to talk."

"Where's your beloved boyfriend when you're in trouble? He ain't doing a good job at protecting you. I'm the one who always save you. I saved his precious girlfriend yet he wants me to stay away from his girlfriend." Jung Kook rolled his eyes before continuing to walk away from me.

"YA!! ANSWER MY QUESTIONS!!" I got so frustrated at him that I exploded. "LET'S TALK." instead of waiting for his reply, I pulled him onto a bench at a nearby bus stop.

He gave a loud sigh before asking with a soft voice, "What do you want from me?". That was when I feel like strangling him but I remained a calm composure on the outside. Well, that was before...

"YA,I'VE SAID SO MANY TIMES. CAN YOU NOT ACT LIKE A FREAKING SPOILT BRAT!?!" My voice was so loud that we could hear dogs barking & neighbours complaining. I started breathing in & out deeply before continuing to talk to him because I know that if I don't, my blood pressure will go up & I may lose my voice.

"Can you please get rid of your feelings for me? I don't wanna sound rude but-"

"I already did. Ever since the day after I visited you at the hospital. I picked up a 'hobby' to forget about you." He said as he looked down and started fiddling with his fingers.

"Hobby!?! You call fighting a hobby!?!"

"How did you-" He looked a little shocked.

"Well, you look like a mess. Like you got into a dog fight. What else would you do to look like that?" I rolled my eyes while he gave out a small chuckle. That chuckle made me smile a little as it was the first time I seen him like that after so long. He usually just gave me a blank stare or just not look at me ever since I last saw him when I came back from the hospital.

"Don't tell anybody about this. Please." He held onto my hands as he begged me.

"I won't if you stop getting into fights. Deal?" He nodded & gave a sigh of relief.
