You woke up to the sound of horses and a yawning ellon as the sun rose. Here's the thing you were one of the high ladies of Rivendell aka Lindir's eldest sister (same age as him). You and your company of Lindir, Arwen and the lord of Rivendell Elrond. Where you were headed was the highly esteemed Mirkwood, the place of the forest elves. You were to be wed to Legolas Thranduillion, the one and only heir to the throne of Mirkwood. The problem is, you don't really know the kings' son very well and didn't really care for him to be blunt and obvious. He seemed snooty and very prone to fighting for his life, and you dont really like violence much. You were more peaceful than most elleths when it came to fighting. Illuvitar knew you hated fighting especially if there was no purpose to it. You always were the peaceful one in your not so small family consisting of your adar, naneth, Lindir, and your three younger sisters and youngest brother. Lindir was the closest sibling to you as you were about two years apart in human years. He was always at your side even when you wanted to push him off of the Rivendell falls.

You sat up in your seat and then looked out the window and chuckled softly as you saw a softly snoring Lindir leaning upon the carriage and on the horse as well.

"Lindir, wake up munidor..."

He woke up startled then turned and saw you smirking and sighed softly.

"Hello muinthel..."

You smile slowly widens and he smiles fully, then you giggle softly.

"Muindor, your hair" (Brother- Munidor, Sister- Muinthiel)

He blushes faintly and smiles soft and nervously.

"Thanks muinthiel..."

You smiled fully and blushed furiously as he cleaned your cheek with a little water that he had dabbed his thumb into gently.

"Stooop, Lindir... It's embarrassing..."

He smiled softly and whispered to you.

"How so muinthiel? I am just making sure you look your best."

You sighed softly and shaking your head softly.

The elven gate stood before the carriage and you saw the carving of Thranduil's lover and wife Elerrian, in all her gorgeous splendor standing at the edge of the Mirkwood in front of the elven path gate. You sighed softly as you knew Thranduil was not pleased with the Noldor setting foot in his Greenwood. And yet, here we stand, on the border between the west and Greenwood the great, about to meet my fate, Legolas Greenleaf, possibly the best and worst pairing in Middle Earth... You sighed again and stepped from the carriage and got onto your white horse and walked along slowly over the elven path towards the halls of Thranduil son of Oropher.

The first thing you noticed when you walked into the elvenking's halls was the distinct lack of the king greeting you himself. Slightly disappointed you followed the young red haired elleth named Tauriel who seemed irritated by your beauty. She led you to the throne area where you saw a beautiful ellon standing to the side of the King and King Thranduil sitting upon his wooden throne. You bowed gracefully and dared not look the lórinand king in the eyes, lest you meet your fateful ensnarement by those piercing blues of his. He whispers to the Blond ellon next to him who seems to be enamoured with you and conflicted about what his father said as he walks to you, takes your hand gently, and draws it to his lips, leaving a gentle kiss to the back of your hand.
