chapter 4

Her arms made their way around my neck while mines held onto her waist. I wanted to pull away but it felt so good, but soon we both pulled away for air. "W-why did y-you kiss m-me" I said in between pants for air. "Well, your technically a guy now" she said while I was still shell shocked. "Jessica we're leaving!" Yelled her father bill, "be right there dad" she yelled back turning her head to the door. She turned back to me "I still don't get why y-" "just shut up and kiss me" she interrupted, we kissed again until she left.

The next day

It was a Saturday so I had the day off of school. I got my laptop out from underneath my bed and went on YouTube. I started watching Jack and Mark when my phone went off, I looked at the caller id and saw it was ash, I answered

"Heller"

"So, was Jessica a good kisser?"

"How the Hell did you know we kissed! You live in a different state!" I yelled

"Simon told me," I forgot they talk to each other.

"Wait, how did Simon know?"

"He was walking to the bathroom when he saw you and Jessica kiss" they explained.

"Wel- I mean, I guess she was a good kisser?"

"Wasn't she the one who called you a freak?"

"Ya, but that's what I was confused about"

We ended up talking for a while about Jessica and the kiss when I was getting another call.

"Um..hello?"

"Hey Jackson! Wanna come over?"

"J-jessica?"

"Ya, so wanna come over?"

"Um..I guess, I'll be there in a little bit" I said hanging up

I grabbed my phone and left the house, I walked towards Jessica's house and knocked on her door. "Hey!" She answered, "hey" she pulled me in the house and threw me on the couch. "So, why'd you want me over?" I asked, "well I was wondering if we could finish what we started yesterday?" I was so confused but then she jumped on me making me hold her waist so she doesn't fall. "Um..what do you mean by that?" I asked, "stop acting dumb Jackson, I know you love me", "well I..I um. I don't really kno- you've bullied me for three years Jessica and then you just fucking kiss me! I honestly don't know if I do like you, let alone love you!" I said. She looked taken back by my words, "J-Jackson...you kissed me back tho! That means you liked it!" She said. "What did you expect me to do! You were my first fucking kiss after all!" I screamed, "i-i was your first kiss?" I mentally face palmed myself. "Yes you were, now your probably gonna tease me about i-" she interrupted me with another kiss, this one was different from last night. This kiss was more passionate, more loving. "Why do you keep kissing me!" I yelled, she kissed me again "stop talking and just enjoy it" she said kissing me again. I pushed her off, "no! Don't you have a boyfriend anyways!" I yelled at her. "Eh, Jared was always an asshole to me anyways" she said. I got up and walked towards the door, "sorry Jessica but I don't do this kind of thing" was the last thing I said before I walked out. As I was walking I pulled my hood over my head and put my hands in my jacket.

And of course I wasn't looking where I was going and I bumped into someone, "s-sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going" I said and looked up to them, "oh! Hey jackie! Haven't seen you in a while" they exclaimed. "Um..hi?"

"You don't remember me do you?" They asked,
"No, I'm sorry."
"It's me, your aunt Jenna"
"Like I said, I'm sorry. I just can't recall"
"It's okay sweetie! I was actually heading out to go see your mom" she said.

"Cool, I was gonna go to the park, so"
"Oh, well I guess I should let you go then, bye dearest jackie" she said, I waved goodbye and continued to walk to the park.

When I got there I sat down on a bench and watched the empty park before me, it was the middle of December so everything had a bit of snow on it. Everything was so calm and peaceful when there wasn't drama. I pulled out my phone and ear buds and started listening to my playlist. I closed my eyes and started to relax, until someone tapped my shoulder. I took out one of my ear buds and looked at them, "hey Jackson" they said. I was speechless

"A-ash!" I exclaimed
