I knew that he was not your forever and always just as he was not mine
from that you will learn my dear.
I have been there; felt that rage, I've tasted that sadness.

You will learn that you are worth more than a temporary confide,
because we were; you are the fucking sun,
So all he's got to hold him now is the darkness
he has lost the light.

You and I both know now that happiness?
It is not to lie in the heart of another's who's sole purpose
is any less than beating for you.

You will learn that although now broken,
you can heal
we will mend you.

We will wait it out with you just as you all did with me; ever so patiently.
All the tears, the pain and every single drunken backtrack will be endured
Purely to find you again.

This boy did no damage to you,
just as he did not I,
he has merely scratched at the surface of all that you are
all that you were for him.

Leave it at that, there is no need to dwell for damage undone,
brush off the negligence, the hurt, that bittersweet end
and in return become your own beautiful everlasting in between.

The one that you deserve.

He did not hold all you are, he only got a glimpse at the best parts;
The bits and pieces he let go of without realising he was letting go
of the most precious parts of himself too.

For that I know he will suffer,
eternal regret.
