Ara wasn't fully healed yet, I had no idea which way to go, not only that but the sound of rogues surrounded us. Their sent was putrid as it entered my nose. My eyes were looking around in a panic, we needed to find my way out and fast. My wolf was starting to feel anxious.

"Ella... it's okay." Ara spoke, turning to look at her I notice her eyes were down cast hiding away from me.

"Stop that." I held my gaze on her, "I won't have that. And it doesn't look good on you either." Her eyes met mine as I gave her a reassuring smile, "giving up isn't your style Ara, and you won't start now, not ever." I watched as she dropped her head again before bringing it once again up to meet my stare.

"Thank you Ella, you will be a great queen." Her voice was soft as if saddened by something I said, that angered my wolf more.

"Alright, now stop taking like you're not going to make it out of here." I gave her a playful glare as I walked closer to her, pulling her arm around my shoulder. Looking around as I did so I knew we had to get away from here and fast, I wasn't a skilled fighter and Ara is no condition to fight either. Looking down at the small drops of blood dripping from one of her wounds I knew we were leaving not only a trail but a strong one. The only reason we've made it this far is because they want a game out if this, they want to run the chase out.

For once our wolves were the perfect prey and we were running from the hunter. We were weaker, and they were stronger, I could feel my wolf growl inside me, she no longer liked to hear us called weak. In fact this is the closest I've been with my wolf since I first shifted. Pushing off we trudged our way to where we were hoping the exit was, my eyes glanced to the sidelines to my right, they were here just watching us struggle and I'm sure Ara would be able to sense them too if she was at her full potential.

Rogues were foul souls who are nothing like lone wolves. Rogues were in small groups of others, most times they become rouge by losing all their morals as a werewolf. They mostly scavenge the land outside of small packs or cities, getting the things they needed to survive. But these  rogues went beyond that definition, if anything I'd say the rogues we were dealing with were satantic.

The sheer fact that they eat there own kind was poof enough. Looking back to Ara I see her looking back at me. I give her a kind smile and try and think of a way out of this, Ara, Adeline and the others think I'm strong willed enough to put up with the king and his temper tantrums, hopefully I'm strong enough to fight off these numb sculls as well.

We moved about ten more feet before it hit me. It was now Ara's turn to hold me with her currently wear strength. The pain pierce through my lower stomach and traced it self up my spin.

"Ella?" Ara's question hung in the air as she looked at me with concern in her eyes. I slowed as I lowered to the ground along with Ara. "Ella  are you-

I'm guessing realization hit her as well, Ara stoped mid sentence how could she not with the my scent flowing freely in the air, much stronger smelling than her blood. "I'll be fine Ara. You and I both know how much the king and you know about my persona life. It's okay you should know I've fought through my heat before. I'm okay." My reassuring words didn't sound as convincing as I thought they would be, Ara's concern only seemed to grow at them.

"Ella.. you and I both know that this feels different." Listening to her words I cursed in my head, she was right, the pain came a lot stronger than usual and faster. "It's because you are bonded."

Well shit. I could feel the pain wrapping itself around my lower spine like a vice grip, slowing crushing it. I took my lower lip into my mouth as I bit it. I had to stop my self from screaming out. If Jason heard my howl then he would defiantly hear my scream of pain.  That bastard would then stomp his way in here like he stomps around his castle.

The low howl of wolves came to my ears. They were not Jason's nor any of his men, it was the rogues and they had been moving in closer, so close you could now see them running past the trees around us, Ara now could sense them too.

"Well looks like one isn't fully healed yet and then other is stricken with pain from being in heat." The foul smelling rouge came forward, the leader of this so called group. The smell of rotting flesh was strong on his body as if he used it for aftershave.  I could feel my wolf pacing in my head, she wanted to attack but was held back by the heat. The burning had started in my lower abdomen and it would soon spread farther.

"Disgusting."  My voice spoke firm and held strong.  The immediate scowl and stench of anger from the rogue proved that I  had hit a nerve. I let out a slight laugh, which didn't seem to help my case.

" I wouldn't laugh girl. I've decided we're not going to kill you." His eyes were yellow around the brown colour as he glared at me, he also gave me a cruel yellow smile  to match as he continued. "Everyone knows a female rogue doesn't go into heat causing it to be mush harder on us to reproduce, but as it just so happens we have a perfectly good female here, and not only that she's in heat too! My boys have been  restless as your scent became stronger to them, they are all itching to have a turn with you."

Just after his quick speech a  loud growl filled the area as the rogues stop and their leaders eyes widen.
