I paced around the waiting room in the hospital just waiting for someone to walk out and tell me what was wrong with Sincere. I was just sitting on our bed waiting on her to come out of the bathroom when I heard a loud thump in the bathroom. I know she's hiding what's wrong with her from me and I automatically knew that something had happened to her when I heard the noise. Hopefully when ever a doctor comes out he or she will tell me what happened to her.
"Aye can you sit down? She's probably fine, stop worrying," Antoine said to me.
I stopped pacing and turned to face him. He had his face buried in his phone, acting like he didn't care. "If you're just gonna act like that then you can go. I don't have time for your shit right now Ant," I replied.
"My bad, a'ight? I care just as much as you but pacing around here acting like a nervous wreck ain't gonna solve anything. Just sit down and wait until a doctor comes out and tells us what's wrong with her. I'm sure it's nothing serious, it's just exhaustion."
I nodded my head and sat down next to him. "My nigga, I think it's more than that. When I found her in the bathroom she was laying in a puddle of pain killers. She used an entire bottle up by herself within a week and she keeps on fucking with her stomach. I know she's hiding something from me."
"You talked to her about it?" He asked, finally looking up from his phone.
I sighed. "Yeah but you know her. She ain't gonna listen to anything I say, especially when it's something she doesn't want to hear. I talked to her about it this morning in the cabana but she just shrugged me off when she started getting upset. I didn't want to fight with her that early so I left it alone."
"Be like me man and bug the hell out of her until you get your way."
"Then she's gonna be paranoid just like Jay," I replied.
He looked up at me and slightly laughed. "Yeah but I keep that broad in check. You need to bug the hell out of her about everything until you get your way and if you do it long enough you won't have to keep bugging the hell out of her. She'll just come up to you, begging for your help," He said laughing.
All I could do was nod my head. I wasn't with that shit he was talking about. Antoine was a trip and he wonders why Jay's always acting so crazy all the time. It's his fault she acts the way she does. He doesn't do anything for her, that's why she acts that way and he definitely doesn't care about her or what happens to her. It's obvious.
Antoine and I continued sitting there in silence until a doctor finally came out calling Sincere's name.
"I'm right here," I said walking up to him.
"What are you in relation to her?" He immediately asked.
"Her fiancee, what's wrong with her?"
He sighed and shook his head, obviously not telling me something. "You might want to sit down."
I did as he said, growing angry. "Is she still alive?" I asked, jumping to all types of conclusions since he was stalling the news.
"Yes, she is. We caught her just before her body went into a coma."
"A coma? What happened to her?" I asked, getting nervous all over again.
"Well we have several things going on with her right now. She overdosed but luckily we got to her in time. We had her drink charcoal to absorb the poison."
I sighed in relief. I wasn't happy about her overdosing but I was satisfied at her not killing her damn self.
"And what else is wrong?" I asked him.
