Jon.
Jon and thomas finished the pizza and took their plates and washed them off and put them back in the cabinet the y sat there next to next other looking at animals and such.
Jon popped up and said told thomas "I'm going to start working on some lyrics. If you need me I'll be in my room over there."
Jon pointed to the left of thomas. "and the bathroom is over here."
Pointing to the right of thomas. Thomas nodded and smiled as Jon walked to his room getting his laptop.
1 hour later.
Jon heard a knock on his door. Closing his laptop he opened the door to find thomas standing with a small grin.
"what's up?" Jon questioned his friend.
Thomas replied uncertain "I was wondering if you wanted to take a break and go out with me?"
Jon could not believe his hears! He was shocked, excited, and surprised. He stood there paralyzed. Then thomas cleared up that he just wanted to go around town. This ultimately bursted Jon's bubble. He has been waiting to hear those words from him for a long time. Only to find out that he just wanted to get out the apartment. Jon almost died but in spite of his feelings Jon smiled and said
"oh! Um...sure we could go to a coffee shop, or take a walk. We can drive to a--"
Thomas cut him off and shouted "A PET STORE!?" Jon looked at Tom and smiled
"of course. There is a shelter about 6 minutes away,"
Jon saw the excitement beaming from Tom's face! He got his phone, keys, and wallet after saving the document of the soon lyrics to their video. Jon slipped on some old sneakers and headed to the door. Thomas took his phone and wallet and walked behind Jon. Opening the door Jon checked around to see if he forgot anything. Thomas went through the door thanking him for holding it and Jon followed locking the door and walking out to his car. Jon unlocked the doors to the car and thomas hopped in excited to see some furry friends. Jon got in the car closing the door and turning on the car and then the radio. Apparently it was some kind of old school classics day or whatever and the radio played a variety of popular Britteny spears songs. Thomas started to sing toxic. True music Jon thought to himself. Tom's voice was a real gift, and Jon loved it to pieces. he couldn't resist singing with him. The dou sounded majestic harmonizing and belting out notes. Jon would sometimes beatbox while thomas sung. the song ended and the two applauded each other on the pure talent streaming for their voices. Baby one more time started to play and Jon sparked up hushing thomas. Jon did his best Britteny impression and thomas laughed and joined in trying to sound raspy. Jon loved seeing him laugh and smile. They sang until it was over.
Thomas: My loneliness, is killing me!
Jon continued his impression with AND I!!
Thomas: I must confess I still believe
JON: STILL BELIEVE!!
Thomas: when I'm not with you I lose my mind
thomas and Jon: give me a siiiiiiiiiign!!! HIT ME BABY ONE MORE TIME!!!
They bursted out laughing hysterically. Neither one of them wanted this moment to end. But Jon found a parking spot and stopped the car. they got out the car and walked toward the shelter. Tom's eyes immediately went to the 6 month old golden retrievers. Jon followed but his eyes went somewhere else. The tiny husky puppies. His heart melted much like how his heart melts over Tom.
