Everyone is born with a timer on their
wrist that indicates when you're going to meet your soulmate. The timer is a strange thing. The numbers constantly stay black, but glow green when you make any physical contact with your soulmate. My best friend Julia found her soulmate last year. Jack was a pizza boy and met Julia while delivering her pizza. It made me so happy when I saw my best friend's arm glow a bright green every time she cuddled with Jack every time we had a movie night.

Today I'm finally going to meet him I thought to myself. Meeting your soulmate is something everyone dreams about. Throughout your life you try to imagine what they will look like and who they would be. I always thought my soulmate would be a tall buff looking guy, blond hair and brown eyes. I was never really into brunettes. I rolled off my bed and headed to the kitchen. I was startled by my loud ringtone. Julia was probably calling me to remind about the gig we were going to tonight.

"Sarah!"

"Hey Julia whats up?"

"Are you excited for tonight?"

Honestly I didn't care about the concert at all. I didn't really know the band, but Julia didn't have anyone else to go with, so I volunteered. What I was more exited about, was to finally meet my soulmate.

"I guess... In all honesty I'd rather stay home and watch TV, but I'm down to discover some new music!"

"Sar, I'm not talking about the concert. Have you checked your timer today?"

"To be honest, that's all I'm thinking about right now."

"How many hours till you meet him?"

I looked down at my wrist, the black numbers constantly changing.

"Nine."

"Woah! I'm so exited for you! But at the same time I'm supper pumped to see Bastille! Do you want me to come over so we can get ready together? I wan't to line up early!"

"Sure!"

"Alright! See you in 30."

Shortly after, Julia arrived with her bag filled with clothes. It didn't take us long until we were bolting out the door. Julia was blasting some Bastille songs from her phone. I had to admit that I was kind of into the music.

We were waiting in line all day, but it was worth it if we were going to be at the barrier. I had to admit that crowds made me very uneasy, but I was doing this for Julia. I knew she loved this band.

The show finally started, bright lights filled the stage. Suddenly a voice filled the speakers. And song after song I started to fall in love with the music. I didn't know the lyrics but I danced along to the unfamiliar tunes. But soon a dark wave swept over me.

Everyone was shouting and screaming. There were way too many people. My breaths turned shallow. I needed to get out.

"These four walls to keep you
One floor to sleep upon and only
These four walls to keep you."

I felt confined. To many people. Too many people. I closed my eyes tight hoping all of this will be over soon. People swayed to the song bumping into me from all sides. I wanted to scream.

"These four walls contain you
Supposed to save you from yourself and
These four walls in Holcomb
To keep you from the sun."

There were hot tears running down my face. I covered by face with my arms and sobbed. I hate crowds. Suddenly I felt someone grab my hand. The lead singer crouched on the stage and mouthed "Are you okay?" as he held my hand. I could only shake my head. He held my hand throughout the entire song never breaking eye contact with me. His gaze sent shivers down my spine, something about his blue eyes was so haunting.
