CHANYEOL'S POV
Words couldn't describe my joy. Involuntarily, I began to cry again. Then my first instinct was to tell Alissa. Sigh. We haven't spoken to each other in a while. But whatever, I'm used to people leaving me anyway. But she deserves to know. I picked up my phone and contemplated whether I should text or not. I decided to just quickly type a message.

Me- hey. Just thought you should know mom got a job.

A few seconds later she replied, surprising me a bit.

Ally- That's great hun.
Ally- u ok?
Me- yep... u?
Ally- ditto. Just bored.

What she said next cought me off guard. I didn't know how to react.

Ally- come over? Watch a movie with me.

I quickly typed out an Ok before telling mom that I'd be back. I sprinted down to Alissa's house and knocked the door once before it flew open. Before I could greet her, Alissa fell into my arms. She was sniffling. I hesitantly patted her back before we headed inside to talk about it, whatever it is, over a nice movie.

KYUNGSOO'S POV
Crap. It's been almost 2 weeks since Monique went missing, and Kai is a mess. Search parties have been outm but there are no positive results. " I wanna go over to her house." Kai said to my, without any emotion. " It's 6pm. Her parents are at work." I said. He simply flashed a key before my eyes and I didn't hesitate. We went straight over. He went into ger room, and sat on her bed then started crying again. "I wasn't an awful boyfriend, you know? I treated her nice. The sex was just a plus. I really did love her. We went to our spot on weekends, and had picnics. She asked me to meet her there that Saturday, but she never showed." He said. A light bulb blinked above my head and I slapped kai hard. "Bitch! You stupid piece of shit. Why didn't you say that earlier?" He looked at me weird. "Your spot is the plain along the abandoned road?" I asked and he nodded sadly. I pulled him into my car and revved uo the engine. I parked my car at the end of the road, because the track was too tiny and we started walking. "There's a wooden loft close by. We should check." I said and he nidded. He's really out if it. As we went further away from the track, and into the woods, an ear piercing screem was heard. "Monique.... MONIQUE!!!" Kai screamed and started running. I held onto him and he cried, telling me that it was her. "Calm down. Gather your thoughts. We need to plan." I said and he just sobbed. I could tell he was getting upset. I took out my phone and tried making a call, but the stupid signal doesnt work out here. Well frig it. Kai and I slowly creeped up behind the loft. Heading towards the back. Our eyes widened when we heard two voices talking in the background. "Mark... what's wrong with you bro? We were supposed to kill her. Now you're intoxicated by her pus-" "Aye. I'm not intoxicated Jackson. Boss said dead or alive. Plus he just wants to get at her family. I can't kill her yet. She feels good." Kai's face turned red with anger. I had to keep him silent. "Alright, whatever. But let's go. I'll bring her to the boss tomorrow morning. Be here by 3am ok?" One of them said. Shit. We're screwed. I dragged kai behind a rock close to the loft, and watched as two figures in full black left the scene. When they were out of sight I pulled him inside to see if it was her. He went over to a corner and a girl was on the ground, naked and bruised, with a rope around her hand. He turned her over and started crying, it was her. He tried to lift her, but she whimpered in pain. He kept crying and muttering incoherent mumbles. He pulled me out and started running. "You're just gonna leave her?" I asked and he nodded. I don't know what he's thinking but it better be good. We reached the end of the track, and we saw the two men pushing my car away. Shit. "Kai. Here, take these rocks. You do archery so your aim is good. Knock them out cold and quick." I whispered to him. Without a second thought he took the rocks and hit bith men repeatedly in the sides of their head, really quickly. 5 big rocks and they were out cold on the ground. We jumped in the car quick and as I drove, or more like sped off, Kai called the police, so I went to the station. He called his, mine and her parents, informing them of the current situation. When we got the station, her mother was there already. Sobbing. We just waited on the officers to come, but they needed to talk to us first.

"Yes sir. Their names were Mark and Jackson. We heard right." Kai answered. The police sighed and typed something. "Mark Twan and Jackson Wang. They work for Park Jaebum. We've been trying to lay hands on this gang for two years." He sighed again. "Anything else?" He asked and I nodded. "One of them said the boss was trying to get at her family, and that they are going to pick her up at 3am tomorrow morning." Her mother's eyes Shot wide, and she muttered shit, before telling us to exit the room. We went home, well to my home. Kai decided to sleep over and skip school tomorrow. I wonder what she knows.
