CHANYEOL'S POV
Recap
"Where are you going? It's dinner time." I smiled awkwardly at her at turned back and followed her to the dining room and she set me before a grand table. I was speechless.

I looked at the table, neatly positioned in the center of the classically designed room. Silverware of the utmost styles and numbers arranged neatly in their positions on the table. Plates, neat table cloth, everything was elegant. Too elegant for me. I knew the formalities but I never had the luxury of experiencing them. The maid came out and placed the dishes on the table one by one and as she opened each, the steam went up and revealed the food. It was different. Wow. No more ramyun for me today. I kept my composure like the gentleman my mother raised though. Kimchi, Kimbap, Rice, dumplings, Jajang myeon, Beef stew, Pork Bulgogi. All for one girl's liking? I shook my head. She smiled at me, probably wondering what was going through my mind as I eyed the food. She held my hand, as she sat beside me and prayed for the meal and she also prayed for me. This girl isn't like those other rich kids. She's different. We started eating and talking about anime and K- dramas amd what our favourite songs were. It was really fun. When we finished she signalled to the maid and she brought out two huge cups, well they were huge to me, of Chocolate Vanilla Ice cream. "My favorite." We both said at the same time, then we laughed. We ate the ice cream and we talked a bit. I checked the time and it was 8 pm. "I have to go now Alissa." I told her and she nodded and headed to the kitchen. I sat on the couch and waited for her to come back. When she did, she had a medium sized, lunch kit looking bag and she ordered me not to open it until I got home. I thanked her and walked by myself back to the house and mom let me in. I took the bag to the kitchen and placed it on the counter and opened it. NO WAY. I thought. She packaged food in the bag in about 7 little containers. Each with something different in it. I saw a little note in it.
Hey. This is for your mom. Tell her
thanks for raising an awesome son.

I smiled to myself and gave the bag and the note to mom and ran up to my room, after kissing her goodnight. Today was an awesome day. I thought as I drifted off to dreamland.

-next day at school-
I walked out of the principal's office as I was just talking to him about the scholarship. My chemistry average has been 100% so far and he kept urging me to continue. I didn't tell mom, I wanted to surprise her. I walked back into the classroom after lunch only to find no one there. That's strange. I sat down at my seat and started reading ahead in the next lesson. Before long I winced in pain as I felt my ears being pulled back. "Well well well. If it isn't Channie. Studying poor baby?" Kyungsoo said as he walked around my table and looked into my eyes. I averted my gaze to the book on my desk. "Disrespect already?" He said then signalled his hand and a light rush of feet came trotting into the classroom. "What can we make these? Parachutes?" Another said, then I realised someone younger, Sehun. They broke out into a fit of laughter. "No no. They are just as big as the propellers on the Titanic." And they started laughing again. I shook my head and attempted to get up but one, Suho pushed me harshy onto the chair then Kai spoke. "We're not done here." He reached his hand out to hit me but stopped abruptly when he heard someone speak. "Seriously guys. Why are you wasting your time bullying that poor kid. He's poor in every way plus, all the girls are swooning over me. I'd rather this than bullying some Kid." "Oh, Lay hyung. See this wimp needs a little lesson. He keeps fondling with what's not his." Kyungsoo responded. "Well whatever. See ya." Lay said and exited the room. "Now where was I?" Someone else said, then I felt and Impact and the room went black.

I opened my eyes and was greeted by a blinding light and I blinked a few times to adjust to it. I examined my surroundings and came to a conclusion that I was in the nurse's office. I shook my head, then the previous events came rushing to my memory. I sighed then moments later, the nurse came to me. "You're awake. Here." She said and handed me two pain killers. How did she know I had a headache. I shrugged and took the pills. As I fixed my shirt while I stood, a pretty voice said something to me. "What happened?" I turned and was greeted with the worrying eyes of Alissa. "Bullies." I replied flatly. She reached her hand out and touched an area on my cheek which was slightly swollen. "Ahh,  that still hurts a bit." I said and she apologized. "Well, school is over now, so just wait a minute here for me, ok?" She said then walked into the office where the nurse was. She came out in less than 5 minutes and hugged me. It was so awkward, but comfortable. Her slim figure fit perfectly into my big arms as I shyly wrapped them around her. She slowly let go and we headed off to her car and she took me home.
