Chanyeol walked out of class with many thoughts in his head. He wouldn't dare voice them because people would think he's crazy.
Why did she pair with me? Isn't she rich?
Why did she leave Kyungsoo?
Could he be that bad at Chem?
Why was he looking at me like that?
Chanyeol shook his head in attempt to get rid of the thoughts then went to his locker to pack up and pick up books for his next class. As he shut his locker a shorter boy pushed his shoulder. Kyungsoo. He tried walking away but Suho slammed him onto the locker and pinned him there with one hand before Kyungsoo began. "You better stay away from her outside of class... I like Alissa and If you mess with her in anyway, good or bad I'll make your life miserable even in the grave." Then they all smacked Chanyeol's shoulder and walked away. He bent down to pick up his books and a scowl made it's way onto Chanyeol's face. He sighed in annoyance. I actually thought this would be a good year... guess not. He thought to himself.

"Ally!" Maria called out to Alissa who was at the end of the corridor. "Girl you've gotta see this." She said. Stuffing the final book into her bag, she asked what's up. *watches a video*
"I can't believe he likes me." Ally said. "But omg. Isn't that kinda cool that he would defend you like that?" Maria shot back. "No Maria. What if he made my life miserable? No. Plus he was hurting my friend." She replied. Maria looked at her with a shocked expression and then she looked disgusted. "Friend?" She asked. "Yes my friend." Alissa replied confident. "What friend?" Amanda butted in as she entered the scene. They both ignored her. "I knew you were serious but why did you choose that?" Maria said reffering to Chanyeol. Alissa looked as if she wanted to reply but she just flicked her hair and walked off to the next class.

After school Chanyeol walked out of school and stood at the bus stop by himself with some earphones. He leaned on the light post as he bounced his head to the beat. As he waited for the bus, a black Audi stopped at his foot and the window wined down. "Where you heading?" She asked Chanyeol. "Ah. No thanks. Im waiting on the bus. It will be here soon." He said to Alissa, rejecting her offer. "Oh come on Channie. I'll take you. My treat for improving my chemistry grade today." She said. He shrugged and opened the door and sat beside Ally on the front seat. He ran his hand across what felt like untouched leather. The speedometer was electronic, everything about the car seemed so cool to him. "Where you going?" She asked again. "Oh just around the first right turn, five blocks down on the left." He replied. She nodded without looking at him. She pulled up at his door and he told her thanks and she drove off to her home which was very close, but Chanyeol didn't know. "Who was that?" Chanyeol's mom asked as he stepped inside and took off his shoes. "Just a girl in my chemistry class. She gave me a ride." He replied flatly. "Look at you with a girlfriend " she teased Chanyeol. He instantly changed the topic. "Haven't gotten a job yet eomma?" She sighed and shook her head meaning no. He patted her head and went to take a shower. He went to the kitchen and opened the pot. I hope it's different today he thought. But he was wrong. The scent of the Ramyun noodles slapped his nose. He sighed and and took a plate and sat on the ground with the food and some books. "Baby. I'm sorry. We just can't afford it right now. I want something different too. But it's just..." his mom said as though she read his mind. "It's ok mom. I love you. Thanks" and he gave her a small smile and continued studying and eating. She sighed and looked through some more papers trying to find a job to apply for, but failed.

"Mom, dad Im hOome" Alissa shouted as she walked into the living room of her 3 storey house. No one answered. She went straight to her room and when she opened her laptop she saw a sticky note on the screen.
"Hey baby girl! I knew you would look here as soon as you got home. Just wanna let you know that we are on our way to China for a really important business trip. We topped up all your cards. You can bring a friend over but NO PARTIES! Back in a month.

ALISSA'S POV
Ugh. They do this all the time. Now I'm home alone with the maid. I have no siblings... nothing,  No one.  I dragged my hair out of mere frustration and didn't even try to call my parents. Sigh. I decided to go have a shower and eat and go to bed, even though it's really early. Sometimes I hate my life. People often think that when you're rich it's all good but that statement is seldom true. I just wanna be normal. I wanna feel what it's like to be normal. That's why I want a normal friend. I really Hope the friendship works out.
