"I'm going to kick my soulmate's ass when I meet them. I swear," Marcel breathed out, exasperated from the sketching on his skin.
Tyler rolled his eyes. "It can't be that bad, man. You're just lucky your soulmate isn't drawing little hearts on her body. Kelly still does that to annoy me."
"But you know your soulmate. It's different."
Most people meet their soulmate at a young age. Marcel was twenty-three and his soulmate was a complete mystery to him, except for the doodles she'd leave on her skin, which always made their way to his own.
It was an odd thing with soulmate's. Sometimes Marcel would wake up to get ready for his job and somehow find little drawings over his forearm and thighs.
He noticed that she'd draw in the early morning, around three to four. She was a remarkable artist and Marcel smiled whenever he saw the drawings on his arm but at the same time it frustrated him to no end. He wanted to meet her desperately and these drawings only reminded him that he was alone for the time being.
"You'll find her. You just have to be patient."
"I've been patient for the longest time. I want to find her."
With no second thought, he wrote down the address to a coffee shop downtown on his forearm, hoping that she'd notice it. After saying bye to Tyler, Marcel got ready and headed off to the shop.
It was quiet and disappointedly empty as he took a seat at the corner booth and waited.
He began to doubt that he even had a soulmate. Maybe the world had only taunted him and the wonderful sketches left on his skin were nothing but a mistake.
Then the coffee shop door opened and he turned to see a woman with black drawings along her arm and a smile on her face. Marcel looked down at his own forearms to determine if the drawings she had matched his own. A quiet, unbelievable laugh left his lips as he realized that they had and he immediately rushed to her.
"I know we aren't supposed to interfere with this soulmate thing, but I needed to find you," Marcel breathed out.
She smiled brightly. "So you must be the boy who had a penis drawn on his forehead a few weeks ago? I had to stay home the entire day for that."
Marcel laughed. He found her. He found his soul mate. The two had sat together, talking as if they already knew each prior. It had certainly felt like that for Marcel.
It had been hours until they had to leave and when they did, Marcel couldn't help but leave a quick kiss to his soulmate' cheek.
After his soulmate left the shop, Marcel noticed something on his wrist.
Marcel 4/26/17
I finally found my better half
If you don't understand this, this is an AU where anything you write on your skin appears on your soulmate' skin. It's not recommended to interfere with how soulmates are supposed to naturally meet, but Marcel had other plans. Vote and comment
And as always I hope ye enjoyed(:)
