Flashback.
2 years ago..

Mallory and Jake were walking from school going to Jakes moms house to study Jake's dad had left them when he was younger so it was just him.

they walked in Jake's mom was cooking.

"Hey mal! Jake! How was your day?" She asked turning the faucet on.

"Good." Jake said before his mom started coughing. "You okay?" Jake asked with concern as they both rushed over to her.

"Get me my.. get me." she said wheezing.

Jake ran to her purse and got it out. He handed it to her when she started shaking and collapsed to the floor.

She had died from a heart attack that day and Jake had never been the same since.

He stopped talking to Mallory for a while but started again slowly as time passed but he had a bad attitude and did drugs and started to hang out around the wrong people and started to get depressed.

3 weeks later..

"Jake what are you doing!" Mallory screamed from Jake's room as he stood on the railing of the balcony.

"I just want it to be over mal." He said his eyes fixed on the ground he just stood there tempted to jump.

"Please I need you whatever it is we can get through it together." She told him tears streaming from her face.

Mallory slowly walked up to him as he started to move his feet. "No!" She yelled.

"I love you Mallory." He said before closing his eyes she screamed and police burst through the door.

"Hey what's going on!" One of them yelled.

One of them rushed dover and grabbed Jake.

They sat him on the bed. He hugged Mallory.

"I'm sorry." He said still sobbing. "I miss her I can't do this." He said not letting go.

"Yes you can just remember all the good times.. like the time we all went to the beach." She giggled.

"An.. and she fell while running to the water." He said smiling. "Yeah I miss her." He said.

"See." Mallory said rubbing his back as he hugged her again.

Present day..

It was at jakes penthouse in la that Mallory stayed at sometimes.

Jake was on the phone.
Jake:"Like I was saying I've been trying to get in for weeks now and I'm still not done doing this crap.. hold on mal's calling.
he told his friend .

Friend:"just tell her your busy." He suggested.

Jake:"I can't she'll know something's up talk to you later Tyler."

He said before hanging up
Jake: "Hey mal." He said picking up

Jake:"hey you wanna go to this new club in town tonight?" He said not giving her time to speak.
