"Boyfriend?!" Mallory asked.

"I need to talk to her Lydia I'll call back later." Mallory hung up.

The phone rang and rang when Emily finally picked up. "Hello?!" She said.

"Emily Grace Norris?! You have a boyfriend?!" Mallory asked.

"Uh.. uh yeah Mal I was gonna tell you." Emily said.

"But yeah his names Carter." She said using that voice that girls use when describing someone their in love with.

"He's so handsome and buff girl he has a six pack! He's light skinned he told me he was bi racial half white and half Black but still uggh he is so hot." Emily said. Mallory laughed.

"He sounds nice." Mallory said. "Ooh ooh and he has this really cute short curly brown hair." Emily said.

"Wow." Mallory looked at Jess through the window signaling her to come in.

"Well Em I'll talk to you later I have to go." Mallory said before going back in the house.

"Oh my gosh Mallory help me they're trying to tech me how to knit." Jess whispered.

"Oh Mallory I thought you left." Justins grandma said.

"No. I was just on the phone." Mallory explained.

"With who? Alex?" She asked.

"No my friends but I figured I'd come in and hang out with you and Jess." Mallory said.

They talked about boring old people stuff when some how agin they got on the topic of relationships.

"You and Travis look so sweet together I know he's a tough cookie but really sweet when you get to know him." She said to Jess.

"Oh Jess I heard you were into modeling you know I was a magazine model back in my prime too." Barbra sparked conversation with Jess.

"Mallory I'd like to talk to you outside." Justin's Grandma got up and walked to the back doors which led out to the pool and garden which didn't make much sense when the beach was literally in walking distance.

"I can tell Alex likes you. I'm sorry if it seemed like I didn't at first I wanted to get to know you better and I think now is the perfect time." She sat down.

"I know sometimes Alex can seem.. difficult he has a hard time trusting people he's been through a lot with his mom and losing his brother." His grandma told her.

"Travis?" Mallory asked.

"No, he must have not told you he will eventually he doesn't like to talk about it." His Grandma said.

Mallory thought about it did Justin really have another brother and if so what happened to him?

"I've never told him that right to his face I think but I love Justin but sometimes he can be distant and cold like he doesn't have a bone in his body that loves anything and it scares me." Mallory said and that's what she thought deep down.

"Trust me he loves you just as much or more he keeps things like that to himself he has his whole life it's the way him and Travis were raised—" Mallory looked away from his grandma to see Justin and the rest of the guys walking in he locked eyes with Mallory and made his way outside.

"Hi Grandma." He kissed her on the cheek.

"Hey Mal." He kissed her.

"What are we talking about?" He asked.

"Well didn't you come out of nowhere." Mallory said.

"Yeah we just got back but Grandma if your finish id like to steal Mallory from you." Justin said.

"Go ahead." She got up and hugged Mallory and patted Justin on the shoulder. "She's all yours." She headed back in the house.

"Where's are we going Justin." He took her hand.

"Somewhere you've never been before." They left before even saying goodbye.
