They walked in the house and Mallory went upstairs to start packing.

"Oh I forgot your trip to Hawaii." Emily said hula dancing.

"Are you nervous?" Lydia asked.

"Nervous? Why?" Mallory nervously asking.

"I don't know flying cruise boats meeting the parents. Its kind of nerves racking isn't it?" She asked.

"Well since you say it like that." Mallory thought.

"Don't worry about Lydia she doesn't know what she's talking about." Emily said trying to convince Mallory.

"You're right Lydia what do wear what do I say what if they don't like me." Mallory panicked.

"You'll be fine." Emily said. "just.. be yourself that's who Justin fell in love with them they will too."

Mallory continued packing. "Where's Coco?" Mallory asked.

"At my aunts." Emily said.

"I can't believe I almost got robbed I'm moving." Emily said.

"That's great Em." Mallory said.

"Ooh I can help you decorate and paint your room— Her phone rang it was Jake.

"Hello?" Mallory answered.

"Mal I'm sorry... it's Just it's Christmas you know You and me I was upset and I said things I shouldn't have." Jake apologized.

"No need to apologize Jake I understand I'll call you when I land ok but we're not leaving till Thursday." Mallory explained.

"Okay." Jake muttered before hanging up.

Lydia and Emily sat down while Mallory did most of the work.

"See you tomorrow Mal she could hear Emily say from downstairs.

"Ok goodnight." Mallory yelled from upstairs.

Lydia came up. "I'm gonna be so bored with you gone." Lydia whined.

"You'll be fine." Mallory said.

"It's Jake I'm worried about... maybe I should stay." Mallory reconsidered.

"What if he goes back to being depressed?" Mallory worried.

"He won't have time enough to Justin's going to work his ass off mine too when he's gone he just gives us buckets of stuff to do because he worries nothing will get done." Lydia said.

"Just promise me you'll check on him while I'm gone or ask Plaza how he's doing." Lydia nodded before leaving.

Mallory was on the phone with Plaza when Justin walked in.

He looked tired like he had just got hit by a car.

"Are you ok?" Mallory asked him examine his face.

"Yeah why?" Justin asked.

"You look...not so...good what happened." She got up and asked.

"I'm fine. Just tired." Justin smiled.

"What's so funny?" Mallory asked.

"Nothing. You're just so cute when your curious." Justin said.

Mallory rolled her eyes.

"Justin can I ask you something?" Mallory sighed and sat down on the bed.

Justin sat down next to her.

She took a deep breath. "What if your parents don't like me?" She asked.

Justin let out a small chortle as if he thought the question was utterly ridiculous.

"Mal my dad likes everyone as long as you don't insult his football and I don't even know his girlfriend and who cares if she doesn't like you fuck her." Justin sighed.

"You know my mom would've loved you." Just said looking down at his hands.

"She always told me if I ever get a girlfriend make sure she knows how to cook because you obviously can't. She told me that after I almost burnt down my dads kitchen when I was younger." Mallory chuckled.

"Seriously?" She asked unbelievably.

"Yep smoke was everywhere." Justin exaggerated.

"Well I'm no master chef but I wouldn't burn down a kitchen cooking." Mallory said.

"Did I tell you my grandma was going to be there?" Justin asked.

"No." Mallory said as her eyes widened.

"Don't worry she's nice." Justin explained.

They were talking and laughing all night Justin was telling the story of he and his brother crashed their first car when Mallory fell asleep in his arms.

He kissed her on the forehead before dosing off himself.

The next morning Mallory woke up in the same clothes and went and took a shower.

She went and ate breakfast downstairs when Justin woke up.

"Good morning." Mallory told him brushing down his morning hair.

"I'm about to go visit Jake before we leave I'll be back." She said.

"Ok." Justin yawned.

"The flight leaves at 12:30" She could hear him yell before she left.

She took one of Justin's car and drove to his apartment.

She knocked on the door and plaza opened it.

"Oh hey Mal." She said opening the door.

"I just wanted to see my favorite guy before I left." She gave Jake a hug.

"Yeah this Christmas is gonna be different." Jake said.

"I like the tree." She said looking at a little tree sitting in a corner.

"Thanks Lucas helped me decorate it." Jake looked at it.

"Oh it's nice." Mallory complimented.

"Mallory since your not gonna be here for Christmas I wanted to give your gift early.

Jake went and grabbed a box from under the tree.

Plaza ran over. "Ooh I wanna see." She said flopping down on the couch next to her.

He handed her the box. "Merry Christmas."

She unwrapped it and it was a jewelry box she opened it and it was and old string bracket that said Mal and Jake.

Mallory started to tear up at the memories.

"Jake thank you I thought I lost this bracelet." Mallory said putting it on.

"Nope I hid it forgot I hid it found it and said I'd give it to you for a present." Jake explained.

"Thanks I love it but you'll have to wait till after Christmas to get your present." Mallory said.

"Aww what?" Jake complained. "Come on."

Mallory got up and hugged Plaza. "Thanks I must be going though." She said before leaving.

She had Lydia and Emily drive her to the airport.

She saw Justin with his brother and his girlfriend and some other guy she didn't know.
