The Culprit

A month later~

Lucy's POV

I woke up this morning and rushed into the bathroom. I released my insides into the toilet, clutching on to the bowl for dear life. I would vomit every day. Especially mornings and it was starting to make me worry about my health.

I thought it was just bad food I had eaten but now I was starting to wonder what it really was. If this keeps up, I'll have to go see a doctor and oh, how I hated going to get check ups.

This had been happening for a week now and it was starting to become a part of my daily routine.

But what really worried me was that I didn't get my period last month. But I decided not to dwell on that much because some people miss months between their periods. I could only hope for the best.

I washed up and went to the guild like usual.

"Ohayo, Lucy-san!" Wendy said.

"Ohayo, Wendy-chan." I responded tiredly.

"Are you okay? You don't look so well." She asked, looking at me in concern.

'Did I really look that bad today?' I thought.

"Umm... Recently I haven't been feeling well... I guess." I said as I  examined my fingers.

"Do you want me to see what's wrong with you?" She suggested.

"You could do that with your magic? I didn't know that." I said in pure awe.

She nodded excitedly.

"I've been training for a while now and I'm able to detect an infection or illness in a person." She boasted proudly.

"Sure then, how about tomorrow at noon?" I tried recalling if I had anything to do tomorrow.

She nodded. "Wendy-chan, come here for a minute!" Mirajane shouted from across the bar.

"Mirajane-san is calling me. I'll see you tomorrow." The blue haired dragon slayer beamed before she left.

I looked around and I saw Gray looking at me. I smiled and he turned away, ignoring me. He's been avoiding me since the guardian quest.

I sighed and I felt evil vibes and glares aimed at me.

"Love rival." I shivered and turned around to be met by Juvia.

I smiled and she seemed to snap out of her thoughts and looked at me confused.

"What's wrong Lucy?" She asked.

"Just not feeling well." I replied.

Lucy then remembered the drunkened night.

'It couldn't hurt to ask Juvia right?'

"Juvia do you remember the night the guild had a party a month ago?" I asked.

She nodded. "Do you ever recall me with anyone that night on my way home?" I pushed on.

Juvia's POV

'The party? She was with Gray right? Why was she with Gray though? Did they do something together?' I fumed at my thoughts.

'Should I tell her it was someone else? But who?' An image of pink hair flashed in my mind.

"Oh, you were with Natsu-san that night." I lied.

"Thank you Juvia! I wouldn't be able to live without you!" She happily said.

She hugged me completely satisfied about finding out who.

I started to feel guilty.

'Had I done something wrong?'

'No, the future won't become that bad.' I assured myself.

'Everything's gonna be alright.'
