Get Down- James Arthur=8:09pm, 9th June 2016=

"Frick my life."
[Silas heaves a long and heavy sigh, his jubilant character dissipated as he cupped his face with his hands.]
"What's wrong?"
"I just got reprimanded earlier from my boss."
"What? Why?"
"There was a situation on the plane earlier. Apparently, there was something off with the jet engines and we only noticed when we touched down."
"Shit... At least nothing happened."
"Yeah but if something did, people could've died."
"Hey... There's nothing you can do about it now so all you've to do is just work harder to make sure your passengers are safe. You're Silas Lancaster, the smartest man I know."
"My baby, my sweetheart, my Naya. Only you know how to make me feel better."
"If it weren't for your sad state, I'd virtually slap you for being so mushy."
"Only for you."
"Looks like both of us have difficult jobs, sad life."
"We have each other, sweetheart. It's enough."
"My attachment started just today and it's fucking tiring. I mean its great and all but really exhausting."
"What did you do there?"
"We're separated into different departments and we rotate every day. Today was cardiothoracic which was a piece of work. Had to run around the whole time. I didn't even do much, just go around wards and watch the operations."
"Isn't that your kinda thing?"
"Not when people die. It's fucking terrifying."
[Silas lowers his head, fiddling with his fingers while he speaks.]
"It comes with the job. Doctors and surgeons do their best and if that's not enough, its not their fault."
[And he looks up at Naya and if she stared a little harder, she could see his glistening eyes.]
"People get sick, they die, but that's just why we were born anyway; to live it for however long we can and to the best of our abilities. That's why both of us are so scared. We have the hearts of people on the palms of our hands.
"Something goes wrong and its our fault."
"When people die, we cry for how short they lived, but then we celebrate how long they held on for."
"Seems like you understand it a lot."
"More than anyone."
[He seems to knock out of his reverie, smiling once again, making Naya a little more relieved.]
"And that is why we have kids! Those little devils."
[Naya chuckles at her man.]
"Do you want any?"
"Duh. Maybe two or three, that'll make a little snug family."
"You? Doctor Everton."
"Don't really know... Whatever my future man wants I guess."
"Two or three it is."
[Amongst his hidden sadness, Naya made a prayer to God, although she didn't really believe in him, but she did it anyway. She said a prayer in her heart for him to be there for Silas when she couldn't.]
