she looks at me kind of confused . " daniel... I .. i don't know IF we could do this , I hurt you .. bad , and I don't deserve you . " she says as she sits back up . " I forgave you . Riley , i need you . " i say disappointed in myself . I know i shouldn't be letting her get me back because she's right , she doesn't deserve me . But i need her , i could always forgive . " maybe we can just be friends for awhile , then move to the next step . " I say . " deal " riley replys with a smile .
* buzz buzz * my phone buzzes as I get a text .
" I wish you would have actually killed your self " I say in my head as I read the text . The text says it's a unknown number , but I just ignore it . Until my phone buzzes again , " aw poor daniel wants to die just because his girlfriend slept with his best friend " . I text back " who is this " and get the reply " damn it , I was hoping you were dead , i didn't think you would reply " I frown and turn my phone off . Why am I suddenly Getting all this . " who's that.? " riley asks . " oh nobody, just my mom .. she uh wanted to know if I needed anything from the store " I say trying not to cry . She nods and smiles and then goes back to social media . I fall asleep quickly and riley had to leave so she did . I wake up with my mom by my side . " hey hunny , I have good news " my mom says sounding excited. " hey , what's up ? " I reply back rubbing my eyes . " you get to leave today !! " she says with a big smile on her face . " oh yay ! " I say sounding sad but trying to act happy . " hun what's wrong ? " my mom asks . " I've just been getting these weird texts , " I say as I show her the messages. " who is that daniel ?! " she says worried . " I'm not sure , but don't worry about it . " I say as I get up to use the restroom . I pull down my pants and as I'm going to the bathroom I look over to see a hospital razor . I just stare at it
" daniel stop . " i hear voice coming from behind me say .
" mom ?! Why are you in here ? "
" I was checking on you "
" I've only been in here for 1 minute mom , stop " I exclaim as she shuts the restroom door . I pull up my pants , wash my hands and head out back to my hospital room . I gently lay back In bed and start playing with the string on my Joggers . I look up as I see s doctor walk in .
" hey daniel and ms skye , your able to go home now " she says as she smiles . Great , I get to go home , which means I have to go to school . I don't know how I'm gonna face all these people knowing that I tried to kill my self .
" Yay " i say as i smile,my mom could tell it was fake. She smiled at the doctor as she waited for me to get up . i grab my bag and search threw it for cloths. i grab this plain white t-shirt with a gray sweater and some black joggers .
" daniel"my mom says as she looks at me with a frown .
" what ? " i reply as i put my bag back on the floor .
" you dont seem happy about going home . "
" im fine "
" daniel , whats wrong hun ? "
" mom , im scared to go back to school" i say letting a little tear drop run down my cheek .
" babe ,just ignore those texts , you'll be fine "
" mom , there's so many people attacking me. i think jordyn got all her friends to do this "
"remind me , who's Jordyn again ? "my mom says with a confused face .
" oh , she is the girl who i was with for awhile when you were gone "
" what happened , why would she do this to you ? "
" i think i already told you mom ,but ill tell you again " i say as i laugh . she lets out a quick laugh and looks at me seriously waiting for me to tell her what happened . After telling her all about how we met i began telling her why she broke up with me .
" okay so Riley had texted me saying that she misses me and all that stuff and i had told her i miss her too and then she ended up telling me that i was an idiot for thinking she was being for real , she was dared to text me mom ."
" okay so why did jordyn break up with you then ?" my mom repeats herself .
"well i ended up telling jordyn what happend and she got upset that i told Riley that i miss her . " i say finishing up my story .
she frowns feeling bad for me but not knowing what to say . after a little while of getting all my things packed we checked out of the hospital . we go get something to eat and then i sigh happily finally able to sleep in my own bed .
