The next day

I wake up and check the time ,

" babe, do you want me to come to your house and meet you guys there or should i go to the restaurant on my own ? what time " i text Riley as i get up and put on joggers .

" my mom said its fine if you just come to my house first and then we will all go together, come at 2 "

" okay , see you guys then " i text back turning off my phone to go get ready . I take a shower then get dressed, i was so nervous . Should i get her mom something?

" babe ,what things does your mom like ?" i text Riley hoping she would hurry so i would still have time .

" Daniel, don't get her anything . "

Ugh okay , i finish getting ready and clean up my room real quick . i still have extra time before i have to go so I go and sit in the living room and check social media . of course my mom isn't home again. perfect .

Its about time i should leave now so i lock up the house and grab my backpack, i bring it everywhere with things i may need,just like girls have purses.

I pull up and all of a sudden my heart starts racing really fast . But i can do this . i ring the door bell and wait . there was no going back now .

" HEY " i hear as the door opens , i look up and its Riley , my heart drops .

" oh my gosh , you scared me , i thought you were your mom ." i whisper as i hug her .

" Hello Daniel" i hear a voice coming from in front of us . oh gosh , it was her mom now .
" hi ms , Garcia "i say as i go to shake her hand. she puts my hand down and hugs me .

She walks me and Riley over to the couch and sits us down.

" before we go , can we all talk for a little , make things clear . " she says looking seriously.

we nod our heads and listen .

" first of all, Daniel i apologize for thinking of you the wrong way "

" oh no, it's fine"i reply back nervously

" now , I'm gonna ask you guys a few questions and i'm asking for you guys to be completely honest with me." she says looking at both of us but it felt like she was directing that to me .

" do you guys kiss " was the first question.

" yes " we both reply .

" okay, have you guys hickeys from each other "

" yeah "

"has either one of you ever cheated on another . "

i reply with " no" and Riley says " yes"

" okay and , have you guys ever did it ..."

oh gosh what do i say . We both stayed quiet and looked at each other .

" only one time " i blurt out , Riley looks at me kind of mad .

Riley's mom looks mad, but chill at the same time .

"hmm, okay , if you guys do that you better use protection until your both ready to have a kid , understood ? " she says .

"understood " we both reply .

" alright let's go " ms Garcia says grabbing her purse .

i was so shocked,her mom was so chill about it, but what will my parents say .

We go out and eat and i actually had fun, after awhile it was chill , i wasn't scared of her anymore and she was actually starting to like me.

" do you want us to drop you off at home or do you want to stay with us tonight? just none of that stuff you guys do ." she says and then laughs.

" oh my gosh mom " Riley says with her hand over her head laughing.

" You can just drop me off at home if you want haha "

" aw, we want you here"

" OH , then sure I'll stay , could you take me home to get some stuff ?"

" yeah sure"

We drive to my house and right as i walk in there my mom was sitting there at the table. I try to ignore her but right as i walk by she talks .

" Daniel. " she says sounding calm.

" yeah ?"

" I'm sorry , overreacted , i did . but i don't think your ready to have a kid . "

" mom , she isn't pregnant , well at least not with my baby ."

" Daniel , if you keep seeing her she is gonna make you act like the father of her baby "

" okay and ? nothing is wrong with that ."

" Daniel, don't you want to spend your life with a girl who doesn't cheat and someone you can have your own baby with ? "

" Mom , how could you say that ? i love her , nothing is going to change that " i say as i run upstairs . I quickly get my things ready and run out of the front door before she could stop me .

" alright I'm ready " i say as i get back into the car .

Riley and her mom smile.

" hey mom tomorrow can us three go to the doctors to check on how

my baby is doing ?" Riley says hoping for a yes .

" yeah sure , Daniel do you want to invite your mom "

" no it's fine, she isn't going to want to since it isn't my baby ,"

" Does your mom know that you guys slept together ?" Riley's mom questions .

" yeah , she wasn't to happy about it , you reacted cool , she didn't "

" aw I'm sorry Daniel , i don't think any parent would react good , your only 17 and shes only 16 , that's young to be doing that stuff . "

" yeah , i just wish she was understanding " i say looking down sadly .

We finally get to Riley's house and we are all so tired .

" Daniel you can sleep in Riley's room with her but remember , please don't do that stuff in my house okay ? " she says as she throws me pillow and blanket .

" okay " me and Riley say giggling .

we get all settled , i was about to take off my pants to sleep in my boxers but her mom probably wouldn't like that so i slept in some joggers and no shirt because it was hot . Riley wore a really short night dress," Riley ,change that , your mom is going to get mad " i say whispering . she ignores me and gets into bed . She snuggles up into my arms and rests her head on my chest .
" good night baby girl "

" good night babe , i love you "
