The next morning
I wake up to Riley shaking me
" babe , get up " she says in a soft morning voice .
I open my eyes and see her there over me . I smile .
" hey gorgeous . "
" hey babe , cmon get up and get ready ! " Riley says playfully .
i get up and start getting ready .
After we both and her mom get ready , we went to eat and then headed to the doctors. We check in and sit in the waiting area for awhile.
" daniel and Riley " you hear a doctor call .
We get up and Riley's mom comes with us . After we are let into our room a different doctor comes in .
" hey guys i'm gonna be your doctor for today " she says with a big smile and puts her books and stuff down .
The doctor started doing the tests as she says ,
" So Daniel, are excited to be a dad ? "
" oh um , that's not, my kid " i reply back nervously.
" ohh , so are you her brother ? "
" no, i am her boyfriend "
" oh ! so you- "she begins saying as she looks at Riley kind of disappointed .
" how old are you guys? you guys look pretty young "
Damn this doctor sure was asking a lot of personal questions .
we just looked down and didn't answer becuase we knew she would judge .
" okay well um im gonna go scan the tests and stuff and let you know how your baby is doing ." she says as she smiles at all of us.
" mom excited for this baby" Riley says as she smiles at her mom and grabs my hand .
i smile back and i started feeling worried for a moment , i felt like this kid was gonna break up me and Riley . It's zachs baby, shes going to want to be with zach .
We were waiting for a hour now and finally she came back . The door slowly opens as she walks in looking sad .
