A couple weeks later
" hey " I hear a voice from behind me saying. I look back to see my baby Riley .
" hey baby girl " i say smiling and then kissing her softly .
We hear all this laughing and as we look around we see Zach and Jordyn against a locker kissing and laughing and trying to be all cute .
" oh so what now they are together? " riley says looking at me laughing sarcastically .
I walk riley to her locker , like i always do and stand there to see if she needs any help .
" Ugh Daniel , you messed up my lipstick when you kissed me . " Riley says in a joking way as she grabs her makeup bag . She pulls out a lipstick and starts to fix up her makeup .
" You're so damn gorgeous . " i say looking at her in the eyes smiling . She blushed .
" tonight my mom comes home, i haven't seen her in so long . We have a lot to catch up on "
Riley says looking sad .
" oh yeah ? you have been living alone for that long ? " i question her with a confused look.
" yep ." she says looking down.
" you should have stayed at my place , nobody is ever there either haha , i don't think my mom would mine " i say as i smile pulling her chin back up . She smiles and gives me a quick kiss before heading to class .
A couple hours later
" Babe , come over tonight ,i miss you at night." i text Riley as i grab a snack from the pantry.
I had got no response from her all day until late night .
" hey hey , sorry i was with my mom all day . " she had finally texted back
Just an hour after that , there was someone at my front door knocking . of course it was Riley .
" hey babe. " i say as i open the door and give her a quick kiss . She kisses back and walks in.
We watched some movies on Netflix for awhile and cuddled .
" baby can you pause that " Riley says as she leans up.
i pause the show and sit up to look at her .
" whats up ? "
" Daniel i have some really bad news ..."
