You didn't care if Demyx, Cloud or Zack thought that you were crazy. You didn't care at the fact that you could still hear Axel's music from the parlor down the way as you walked toward the escalator that brought you to the subway. The text message was ominous and it was something that you weren't quite sure how to react to it.

Rikku would probably demand that you show Cid, who would then either brush it off or tell the two of you to go to the nearest SOLDIER station. You hadn't known Cid, or at least you did know; but not enough to make sure that you could guess how he would react.

The underground felt damp, humid. There weren't a lot of people down on the outbound side of the subway, the inbound came rushing through and groups and single people bursted from the aluminum tube. You weren't quite sure on what exactly you wanted to do, where to go, or what just in general. You were feeling even more lost than you ever had been before.

As the underground train came, the rushing of the air bursted from the opposite direction, light flooded the tracks to highlight any trash or scurrying vermin.

Then, you could feel a warm sensation at the base of your head. There was something clicking, or pieces to a puzzle that were trying to be forced back together. As it came to a stop, what some people that showed up entered the tube, you did the same before sitting down for a change.

Three stops later, you didn't move, there was another five stops until you got off. When a voice came over the loudspeaker, it woke you from the haze.

"Radiant Garden University, last stop."

The automated voice over the machine crackled.  Everything was like a ghost image, reflexes that you hadn't ever thought that you had just acted. Emotions bubbled underneath the surface, dreading to be sitting behind a desk and continue experiments day in and day out just for them not to work out.

Agitation of other students that would be asking how the project was going, then having to sit through with your peers as they would recount their failed attempts at their experiments. It was horrendous, that you would be studying alongside such idiotic people

These were emotions and thoughts that were playing through your mind, your voice was low and hushed as if no one else was around. That these were just personal thoughts that you had to talk to someone about; even if it was just you.

Coming out from the underground, you were taken back by the view of the University campus.

It was a full University campus, it was obvious to see which building was the residence hall where out of city residents would stay. It was large and was to your left as you came out from the subway. Then toward the right was a large fountain, in the darkening evening you were able to notice that there were special lighting inside of the fountain.

Colours danced underneath the surface of the fountain, constant ripples expanded across what was once a glass reflection to the sky. You were in a trance by watching the colours. Soon you were standing in front of it before realizing that there were fish swimming about.

Bubbles began to rise up and soon there was a watery form that stood before you. It's figure was feminine, it took several seconds before realizing that it was mimicking your appearance.

Chuckling aloud, you grinned toward the figure. It smiled back before it's form took a new shape. You were further surprised to learn that took the form of Demyx, you hadn't expected it to do so. You studied its form intently, watching how it took the exact form; weight, height, hair, his eyes, his sharp jawline.

The water took the exact form of your co worker. The way that there was a smirking smile on its face, it made you melt a little. A small ache in your chest blossomed and you couldn't understand why.
