It was a hard choice on what you wanted to do for the day. However, the minute that you decided to take a real good look around the apartment you realized maybe it wasn't a good idea on going out. There were some things that were out of place or just dirty. Sighing in realization that maybe it would be a good time to do a semi deep clean of the apartment, you set out to do so.
There were some things that you noticed while cleaning that were probably hanging around when Rikku was just living in the apartment by herself. It was quite.. the oddity.
It wasn't too late by the time you managed to get your room and the main living area straightened out, it was time though to find some food. That's what your stomach was trying to tell you. Not wanting to destroy what you did manage to clean, which felt like a feat all by itself, you grabbed your keys and a light jacket and set out for the only place you trusted the food.
Seventh Heaven.
Walking into the bar after coming up from the subway was a relaxing feeling. There were a couple of people hanging around in the bar, some teenagers hanging out on some of the high top tables toward the front of the place.
Yuffie and Tifa were hanging out behind the bar, working while talking with one another. You caught Yuffie's eye first. "Ah! [Name]! You didn't answer my text."
"What text?" Raising a brow you went and settled on a stool. Pouting without an answer, you pulled out your phone to see that you had indeed missed a text message from Yuffie. Sheepishly you read the said text to see that they had been swarmed and would've liked your help.
"Sorry Yuff, I was cleaning my house."
"See if I said that I would get in bigger trouble."
Looking toward the kitchen door you found Sora standing there with a grin on his face regardless of what he said. Smiling at the brown haired male, you waved slightly. He was wearing typical 'cooks' clothes with a red bandana keeping his typically wild hair out of the way.
He glanced around deciding that no one was going to pester him, otherwise Tifa would've told him to get back into the kitchen, he took a seat beside you.
Fifa went off to take care of a customer while Yuffie began to clean glasses. "That's because you use it as an excuse, we all know that your mom and Riku take turns cleaning it."
Sora acted as if he was offended while Yuffie chuckled and decided to go help another customer at one of the tables. "You and Riku live together?" You butted in softly causing the young male to turn his head toward you with a nod.
"Yeah, my mom is Riku's godmother. After the Destiny Island thing, Riku's parents got separated from us. It's difficult to travel between worlds, so he talks with them every so often but stays with us."
You smiled warmly, one that seemed to surprise Sora just a tad bit. He returned it nonetheless. "That's great, it really is. I'm... sorry about Destiny Islands though."
Sighing he shrugged his shoulders and leaned back. "It's all right, it's been a while now. Eventually we'd like to go back there to ya know."
Nodding your head you thought for a brief minute before looking at him. He seemed different, talking about Destiny Islands. "I'll come," His eyes grew wide. "I want to help you get your home back. If that's okay." With a weak, unsure smile you offered your assistance. Despite unsure whether or not you could fight, you wanted to help him.
Sora on the other hand, was afraid that you would get hurt again. He saw how the Heartless latched onto you that night, how many people it took to get rid of it. But here you were, fearless as every and willing to go with him.
"It's a promise?"
Laughing softly, you nodded. "It's a promise."
