"Heyyy [Name]! Can you do Brother and Cid a big favor?"

The minute that you heard those words coming from Rikku of all people, you had to hold your breath until you felt confident enough to have her continue. All you knew was that Cid built things with another guy named Cid who had a daughter, or niece named Cindy.

How confusing.

Hence the reason that you were now standing in the mall in front of a mechanic parts store. Eyes flickering back and forth and it was just.. odd seeing parts like this inside of a mall of all things.

"You're here to put in an order for Cid and Brother?" A man on the otherside of the counter raised a brow, his eyes racking over your perplexed look. He had long blond hair braided over his shoulder. His eyes reminded you of lilacs.

Nodding your head you sighed as well. "Yeah, Rikku sent me." Fishing out your phone you showed the man on the other side of the counter the text message that Rikku had sent you after the fact. All that he could do was sigh and scratch the side of his neck before looking toward the back of the space. Beyond the heaps of jun-- parts.

"Old man!"

You had to cover your ears slightly at the raised voice. Sound echoed from the back of the store space, after moving around a little bit from the front counter you managed to catch what appeared to be a back space door slightly opened.

Throwing the door open was a older man that almost looked like the light blond standing in front of you. A set of goggles were propped on his forehead, soot smeared all over his face with the hint of slick oil. "Whattya what you brat?"

It wasn't difficult not to notice the eye twitch. "Tacand needs a shipment order."

There was a pause in the man's features, his mouth about to open until a sound blast of music came from behind you. Pressing the heels of your hands into your ears, you turned around to find it to be that tattoo shop.

"For Gods sake!"

You watched as the man from all the way in the back marched himself right to the front of the store, his eye glaring daggers across the way. "How many fucking times do I have tell you to turn that music down." Said  the man dark auburn hair, you quickly realize this was the man that always argue with the tattoo shop owner.

The music continue to play loudly call man with a bright red hair but expecting to you for minute because one of his shoulders were shaking up and down may be from laughter or something else you were unable to tell.

He turned around and   walked the  to the front of the store. The first thing that you noticed right away was the bright mint eyes staring right at you.

Ignoring the parts owner on purpose.

"C'mon Cid, loosen up. Loud music won't kill you."

"It'll make me bloody deaf is what it will do!"

Scratching the back of his neck the redhead seemed to have rolled his shoulders a little bit. The smirk was still present on his face, mocking Cid. "Between what you and Kain over there work on, that will cause more medical issues than my music."

Quickly Cid lost his voice and you weren't sure whether it was because Cid was getting more angry to the point of unable to speak or perhaps because this guy had a point. You weren't a hundred percent sure on what Kain and Cid did exactly other than working in a parts store... so it was possible that the redhead had a point.

All that Cid decide to do was throw up his hands on the air and walk back into the store. "Your father's part will be ready in a couple of hours!"

On the other hand the tattoo shop owner just began to chuckle loudly as the smirk bled away into what appeared to be a genuine smile. "Hope this give either of us  a bad impression." His voice was now soft and calm instead of the mocking sarcasm.  He turned to walk calmly back into his own shop. Meanwhile all the other store owners and their employees didn't seem to be bothered by any of what transpired.

Mustering up your courage, you followed the tattoo artist into the shop. "A-Are you and Cid always like that?"

He paused and turned around a little bit with a look that made you believe that he was a little surprised that you followed him at all.  Shrugging his shoulders a little bit he honestly didn't look like he cared too much. "At times, it happens though. We only deal with one another for a couple of hours every day. Sometimes he ain't in at all so it's Kain and I."

Something was bubbling up inside that you couldn't figure out. All that you could do was pay attention to the intensity of the colour of his eyes.

They were familiar.

"You're probably busy setting up for the day," Sputtering out the words out of no where, you began to feel a dropping feeling. "it was nice to meet you. I'm [Name]."

He was quiet and you couldn't understand why until a smile appeared on his face. "Axel. Come in whenever you want or if you want a piece."
