There had been so many people out in the hallways. Doors were wide open between each apartment as people sat there chatting with one another while someone else was on the phone yelling about there being no power.

No one saw what you did out on the streets.

Careful about your new eye colour, you adverted yourself to the service stairwell all the way to the very first floor. Popping out of the door beside the elevator, you ignored the man who was yelling at the small little security guard behind a desk.

Outside was bitter cold, it was fall yes but, this was like the dead of winter. The rain felt like icicles falling from the sky without being hail or snow. The darkness of the night was unsettling. It wasn't natural. The moment that you had stepped out of the building you could sense something.

You took tentative steps on the sidewalk, checking everything around you.

No one else was outside but you could hear sirens, police sirens and firetrucks. Ambulances. But you could see nothing, Noise was the only cue that you had to show signs that there were some people outside. Only first responders.

Beginning to pay no mind to the noises, you focused on what was happening in front of you.

The darkness was thick and you could absolutely confirm it wasn't natural night-darkness.

It was something more evil.

Your eyes danced around in the streets, searching for what you saw from your bedroom.

Of course it was gone and that was the agitating part about it all. You weren't crazy, you saw it. You were beginning to feel thankful, with these eyes you could see everything vividly. Yet the lingering darkness amongst everything was a sign that not all was well.

"Where did it go?" Speaking to yourself was something that was becoming a custom without anyone else around. "I saw it."

Then darkness stirred the moment that you stepped into the middle of the road, balancing on the yellow lines. Bubbling up from the surface, strings shot out from the road, piecing together like armor.

It stood twice your height, towering over with such force wafting off of it's figure. It gazed down with the same glowing amber eyes. Wisps fell from it's gaze, darkness was pulled back to bare a sharp grin.

There was a hissing sound and gurgling, "[N-Naaaa-aam-eeeee]" The creature slurred out, beginning it's stalk toward you.

Horror filled your body, the tightening in your chest suddenly became an anchor and you couldn't move at all. Something about this darkness was familiar, like a mother's touch.

Yet, it was frightening.

Then, you were jerked away and your legs began to work again.

A hand was wrapped tightly around your wrist, pulling you through the darkness. Bringing up your strength, the hand let loose as the two of you ran through the darkness. They seemed to be able to see just as well as you could, weaving around more creatures that rose from the darkness.

However, the larger one kept it's chase.

"Where are we running toward?"

That's when you saw the brightest blue eyes in the world stare right back, these blue eyes reminded you of someone. Someone that was once precious. But the brick wall in your head stopped you from picturing their face.

"The garden! They aren't able to get into the garden." The person spoke and the voice was feminine, soft and reassuring. You just nodded and continued to run and soon enough, the square where you were founded and Zack ran over you came into view.

A sharp turn was made and suddenly there was a huge garden of flowers that seemed to be the only thing with colour that stood out in the darkness.

The girl crossed over, legs passing through the flowers, as if they couldn't be trampled upon.

Crying out, you fell face first on the ground, mere inches from the beginning of the garden. Pain shot up your right leg, screaming out into the darkness you turned back to see a large four legged creature with it's sharp canine teeth in the base of your leg, into your ankle.

Life began to spill out onto the ground, blood rushed out of the wound.

You looked up to see the female that was running beside you. Horror was on her face, but you could see her perfectly now. As if she stepped into the only light in the entire city.

She was the same height as you with short cropped black hair and bright blue eyes. She was wearing a black coat with a navy blue tank top and long jeans with simple shoes on. She seemed normal, but again - something familiar.

Your eyes widened when light flashed in her hands, out came a blade. Not any blade but a gigantic key. The handle was gold while the 'blade' was silver.

In your head something screamed, more than the pain in your leg.

K E Y B L A D E.

You screamed again, louder than ever as another set of teeth latched onto your other leg, in your calf muscle. There was a dragging motion and all you did was close your eyes in pain and fear. Fear to see what would happen.

"You won't take her!" Her voice had gotten louder, opening your eyes to see that she was actually able to hack and slash them. They disappeared in bursts of dying light, yet you were drawn to the dark ruby red hearts that bursted out before fading out.

The short black haired female then found herself face to face with the giant that had been stalking the two of you.

Huffing and puffing, her brows drew together until there were other sound. Voices.

"[Name]!"

Looking up sharply you saw Rikku, her green eyes filled with horror and dread. To be quite honest you were shocked for a brief moment at the fact that she was only wearing a bright yellow bikini top and a pair of green shorts with her typical shoes.

"R-Rik!" Shuddering out, you felt a large hand pluck you from the ground dangling you in the air.

Huffing and screaming in agony, you saw the black haired girl lying on the ground, holding her side as the keyblade laid ways from her.

Blood dripped onto the ground as the gigantic monster grinned with glee. The darkness spiraled up it's arm, making headway for you.

"C'mon boys!"

It's arm was cut at the elbow just as the darkness was grazing your cheek. Strong arms caught you on the way down, witnessing two massive blades slice through the creature. It hollered in pain, more and more darkness grew from the ground into smaller creatures, some making headway for you and to aid it's 'leader'.

One by one, different people you knew and didn't know showed up.

Rikku. Yuna. Tifa. Cloud. Zack. Brother. 'Reno'. Sora. Yuffie and Aerith.

There were others that you hadn't known, including the man whom caught you.

Your chest clenched up in sudden pain, eyes going wide you stared into the abyss of the sky until something caught your eye on a rooftop.

The world stopped, though a distance away you watched as you watched on at the scene below. A curdling smirk grew across your face, [colour] eyes suddenly locked onto your amber ones.

And then, the entire world disappeared from your vision.
