The wind soon died down again and MC's hair had settling back in place, resting on her shoulders and her back as she brought her hand back down to meet with the other on her lap. The cloud had passed over the sun and the light was soon brought back to the ground, feeling the warmth of the sun on her legs and shoulders, she sighed in content. The man repositioned his cane to rest on the the side of the bench then began to walk towards her before removing the camera from his neck and placing it in the woman's hands.
"Is this what you were trying to capture?" His voice was smooth and deep. She could it so tranquil and soothing, it was hard not to ask him to keep talking so she could listen to it more. She looked at the small screen in the back of the camera and saw the picture of the sky from a very minutes ago displayed on the small screen. It was a beautiful photograph. The color was vibrant and the quality flawless. She smiled as her cheeks redden at the beauty of it.
The man took a seat beside her, and her bags that were beside her on the bench, and something in his chest made him happy when he saw the smile because of his photo. The woman looked up to him, her face beaming.
"This is exactly what I wanted. It's such a lovely picture! You're very talented sir!" He took pride in that. Photography is his happiness and with it he was happy to see people like this young lady enjoying what he did. He smiled warmly at her, the smile reflecting the odd warmth that sun gave off this late in the year.
"Thank you very much. I'm glad you think so. It's reassuring that I do my job well." The girl turned her body to him a bit, holding his camera back out to him.
"So, you're a photographer then?" He nodded as he took back the camera and slung it back around his neck.
"I am. You can call me V." The woman's face seemed to become even more happier as she smiled with her entire face, a beautiful open mouthed smile as she stood and held her hands to her chest, her happiness radiating from her very form.
"Photographer V?! I'm a huge fan of your work! I've actually used some of your picture as models for my own type of art!" V hadn't gotten a response like this since Rika, the woman he had sworn his life to only a year and a half ago. He found it very... nostalgic. He felt that warmth in his chest he hadn't felt in so long because of this woman and her enthusiasm. He was quiet for a bit as he just looked at her figure covering the blinding sunlight.
"V? I'm sorry, did I irritate you? I know I caused a bit of a scene and got a bit over excited." V chuckled as he shook his head a bit.
"Not at all." He liked it actually. How she got excited like a child who found out their mother was making their favorite meal, or faithful pet who was jumping with joy at the sight of their master. He hadn't remembered the last time someone got so excited over him and he wasn't one who wanted so much attention, but with this woman, he felt it was okay.
"You said that you use my picture's as models? Are you also a photographer?" MC shook her head as she smiled and sat back down. She dug around in one of her shopping bags before pulling out a small canvas.
"Not quite." She smiled as she held the plastic wrapped canvas up by her head. "I'm an artist." V nodded as he smiled. He couldn't help but smile back when she did, she made the action of curling your lips upwards so contagious.
"Oh? What's your medium?" MC placed the canvas back into the back before pulling the bag up a bit to let the contents inside settle again. She placed her hands on her lap again, her eyes locked onto V's as they spoke.
