V had just returned MC home and the two stood in the doorway to the apartment, MC inside the door frame, and V outside it, something so simple separating the two.
"You haven't been on the messenger all day, I'm sure they're curious to where you are." V stood outside the doorway of the apartment as MC stood on the inside. He had just dropped her off and was ready to leave, although, a portion of him didn't want to leave.
"Yes, I suppose so." He paused for a moment, thinking on if he should consider coming back to this apartment to spend time with some woman who just happened to accidentally join the RFA, someone other than Rika. "MC, if I may, I'd like to ask a favor of you?" MC was ready to close to door, bidding him farewell, but she paused.
"Uh, sure, ask away." She stood in the doorway, one hand on the edge of the door , the sunglasses from earlier, now resting on top of her head.
"I'd like for your permission to some back and visit you throughout the week. I had planned a trip before the party, but I feel that your safety and understanding of the party is more important, and if you need help or have questions I'd be here to answer them and-" His rant was cut short but the sudden eruption of laughter from the woman in front of him.
"Sorry, I know it's rude to laugh, but it's just ridiculous that you need to ask." She took a breath to steady her breathing from laughing and looked at him, hoping his hidden eyes were looking back. She then smiling brightly back at him. "Of course you can come over, anytime. I've had the time of my life just the past few days with the RFA, and with you V, that you all have more than enough of the right to come over whenever."
Of course, MC knew that only Seven was aware where the location of the apartment was, but she extended the invitation to every member from Jumin to Zen. V felt refreshed at the positive reaction she gave him, and from then on, he found himself visiting nearly daily.
The days went on, and everything was on the road to success. The date of the party was set. It was to happen very, very quickly, in only a week's time, but MC was confident she could do it with the help of everyone in the RFA. Then, one morning, only a few days before the party was to be held and a successful guest list stared, something stopped the easy flow of things.
Over the past few days, V was with MC quite often, whether it be with her physically or chatting with her over the phone or messenger. So, when she heard a strange announcement vibrate off the walls of her apartment, her first instinct was to contact him, but she didn't. Instead, she dialed in her phone, the number of the man who was watching her through the CCTV feed. She called Seven.
"Hello, this is God 707~!" MC scoffed at his sing-song voice on the other end of the line.
"Hey, Seven, I have something to ask you about. It's about the apartment." Seven hummed, taking it as a cue for her to continue on and ask away. "Uh, is there a type of security system? Like, one too keep the classified information classified and safe and what-not?" Seven on the other end of the phone blinked as she spoke. Sure there was, but it wasn't your typical, everyday security system, this one could get someone killed.
"Yes, there is."
"Alright, well, can you like, do something with it?" Seven furrowed his brows.
"What do you mean, 'do something'? It should be the way it has been since you got there."
"See, I don't think so, because earlier it said something about the system being 'deactivated' or something." MC heard scuffing on Seven's end, and soon the rolling of wheels, like he just threw himself in his chair and rolled to his computer. She heard him mutter and type quickly away at something before it suddenly stopped.
