Day after day passed, and even though MC condition was stabilized, she still hadn't woken up. The party had to be canceled, and they all sent their apologies as their party organizer as well as boss were currently in the hospital and recovering from an attack. Rika was taken by the government, before Yoosung found a way to send her to a recovery home in Alaska; one that is constantly on the move, so she'd be hard to find. Saeran was being treated as well, trying to get him to come to his senses and soon, Seven, who had finally started going by Saeyoung again, finally got through to him.

It was strange, the woman who was in the bed recovering from a bullet wound, she caused everything to ripple and soon everything worked itself into place. Rika was finally exposed, and was supposedly getting help, Saeran was reunited with his brother and was recovering well, even dying his hair back to red like when he was a child, and V was finally starting to understand how to live again.

V had his surgery done and was in recovery, slowly getting use to the how the world really looked. He felt pain, and his eyes were sore as they were usually wrapped, or shaded with sunglasses to slowly let them adjust. All he could think was that once this was all over, he'd see MC with his own eyes, and for the first time, clearly.

The members of the RFA would frequently visit him after visiting with MC and telling V her condition. He was worried and scared that she hadn't woken up, but a part of him didn't want her to wake up yet. He wanted the first thing she sees when she opens her eyes is him. He wanted to show her that he was okay, he wasn't injured, and now he could see. He wanted to show her just how in love he was.

He would sit in his room alone in silence most times just thinking about it. He would go over time and time again, in his head, how she would more than likely reject his confession to how he felt. He wouldn't be surprised. Because of him and his carelessness, she was lead into the RFA, something he thought to be a blessing, as it brought her to him, but it was a trap, a nightmare.

Because of him, he lead her to be injured, to be kidnapped, drugged, changed, and now, she was in the hospital, recovering from a bullet wound. He fully expect her to hate him at this point, but then he would remember about how she was fighting with Rika, she blamed her for his suffering. He had a small amount of hope that she cared for him, at least enough for her to fight for him.

Then his mind would wonder to Rika, and what she has done. To him. To his family, the RFA. To the girl he fell in love with, MC. Everything she did. To Saeran and to Saeyoung. Even to himself. He started to doubt his previous feelings he called love he felt towards her. Was it love? Did he have the ability to love back then, or did he just want to feel needed, wanted, so when she walked into his life with nothing but a pretty face and praise for his work, he had deluded himself to thinking that was love.

He wasn't sure, and he didn't think he'd ever be sure, but he did know, that what he felt towards MC right now, in this moment, that was love. He was certain, 100% certain.

Still, day after day passed and soon, V was released from his recovery and was discharged from the hospital. He'd have to have routine check ups for his eyes, but he could deal with that. He could see again, and that's all that mattered to him.

V had been taking pictures again, and as many as he can. He'd wake up sometime in the morning, always smiling at how he can see the ceiling above his head, or the glowing numbers on his alarm clock. He'd go through a routine of things before he'd grab his camera, fully charged, and take off to take photos of anything he could.

He snap fountains, trees, clouds, the sky, the sun, people, landmarks, landscapes, horizon shots, and even tried to take more selfies, since MC had told him she should to make a more positive reflection on himself. He would smile at that fact that even back then, she knew he wasn't happy with himself, and she wanted to try to fix that.
