It didn't take long for MC to begin working diligently on her work. V was going to find something to do, but once he started watching her work, he didn't want to look away. She was so focused, so concentrated on her passion that she seemed to bewitch him. He sat there, taking in so much of her figure, that if he had to, he could more than likely recreate her.

Her hair was out of her face, her bangs the only thing slightly hovering in her eyes. She was leaning forward as she went back and forth choosing a color, running the chalk over the canvas before grabbing another color and then blending the two colors together in a beautiful gradient. He took into account the smears of chalk that stained her finger tips and how they would then brush on her cheeks or forehead when she went to move her hair. Her face was showing nothing by determination and she would bite her lip when she came to a point to when she had to decide on what to do next. She's tap her foot and occasionally hum to herself in her state of work.

An hour passed and that's when MC had decided she needed to make a stopping point. She had only gotten the blue of the sky and a few of the clouds onto the canvas which left a fair amount left to do, but she didn't mind. She knew if she didn't stop now, she'd want to finish and she also knew that V couldn't stay forever. He had a life of his own to life. She placed a cerulean chalk into her box before she placed her hands over her head and groaned as she stretched, relieving herself with a sigh.

She turned her head to tell V she had finished for the day but stopped short and chuckled quietly when she looked across her living room to see him sleeping on her sofa. She quietly got up from her stool and dusted her hands off the best she could on her apron before taking it off and setting it on a free edge of her easel. She walked over to the sofa and kneeled on the ground in front of him.

He had fallen asleep and probably fallen to the side as he was resting on his side, laying on the sofa now. His cane had fallen to the floor and his sunglasses were positioned in a, presumably, uncomfortable position due to the pressure. She wanted to let him rest, but she would feel terrible if she didn't let him have some time to himself today. He could have a girlfriend waiting for him, or friends or even parents just waiting for him to come home or talk with them. She couldn't hold up his life because of her own.

She reached out and gently shook his shoulder.

"V. Hey, V you should wake up." He groaned as his head further pushed on the cushion, moving his sunglasses more. MC then removed the glasses from his face to keep them from keeping broken. She had assumed that he was blind, or getting there. The evidence was obvious, but she wouldn't bring it up to him, it might be sensitive so she kept it to herself. His lips parted as she whispered a name.

"Rika..." His voice was quiet and it seemed to be filled with hurt. She felt a tinge of sadness hit her when she listened to his sorrow filled voice. She shook him again, a it hard this time and spoke a bit louder as well.

"V. Hey, you need to get going now." That was enough it seemed that time. It didn't take long for his turquoise eyes to crack open as he winced from the brightness. MC gasped as she lifted his head a bit and placed his sunglasses on his face for him, resting them on his nose. He sighed a bit as it was much better with his glasses and he was able to open his eyes and focus as much as he could on the girl in front of him.

For a moment, he thought he saw Rika, but soon his delusion faded and MC came into his view. She had chalk on her cheeks and her hair had slowly came out of her hair tie, making it loose. She looked a bit concerned honestly, or maybe sorry? She helped him sit up on the sofa as she stayed kneeled on the ground in front of the sofa. She put on an apologetic smile.

"I'm sorry to wake you up, but I figured you should go home now. I mean, I can't put my art in front of your life. You deserve to have your own time as well. So I'm finished for the day." V understood where she was coming from, but for some strange reason, he didn't want to leave yet. He actually felt like he missed out on watching her work because he fell asleep. The fact he fell asleep at all was rare, he knew really did that unless he had known the person for a long time, like Luciel or Jumin, two friends of his.
