The next day, MC had woken up around 7, hearing the familiar ding of her messenger. She had rubbed the sleep out of her eyes as the blur from just waking up was slowly fading into a clearing view. She had opened her phone and found Seven and Zen in chat, arguing about cats... again. They seemed to do that often it felt like, and she'd only been in the RFA for barely 24 hours.
After her morning chat, she had opened up her sketchbook and grabbed a pencil and started sketching random things in her new apartment, and soon she absentmindedly started to sketch V. She was so engrossed in her work, that when her phone went off to signal people were in active in the RFA chat, she jumped. She took a breath and closed her book, setting her pencil inside to save her page and grabbed her phone. She opened the chat was soon greeted Jaehee and Seven.
707: Ah~! Our talented artist is here. You've been hunched over that book for a while now. What are you drawing?
MC looked up at the camera with the red light on it in the corner of her room and smirked at it, shaking her head a bit. She then looked back to her phone and her thumbs typed back a message.
MC: I've been working on a sketch of V actually.
707: Oh really?! You gotta let me see it!
MC chuckled as she set her phone down on her leg and grabbed her book. She flipped it open, removing the pencil and then flipping the book around towards the camera. She then typed with her index finger with her phone still on her leg, her other hand holding the sketch book.
MC: See?
Seven had zoomed in on the sketch pad through the black and white camera feed of the CCTV camera, and his eyes landed on a sketch of V. It was like he was sitting right in front of her. The picture was exceptional, and was like a photograph rather than a sketched portrait.
707: Wow~! That's awesome MC!
Jaehee: It's strange to hear you compliment something so grandly.
Jaehee: I wish I could have the honor to see it as well.
707: It's so realistic. Just picture V
707: only in black and white
707: and in a photograph
707: that's basically it
MC chuckled at the description he gave to Jaehee. She offered to show it to her, if she ever got to meet her in person. Perhaps, at the party she'd bring it to show. He flipped her book around and looked at the sketch. She didn't think it was perfect, but with no real reference to show for the work, she was pretty dang proud of it.
The chat went on for a few more minutes and then ended. MC answered a few more emails before checking her messages then closed the app. She closed her book and tossed them on the table in front of her as well as her phone and flopped to her side on the couch. To say she was bored was an understatement.
Doing art was fun and she did love it, but it's not something you can do for hours on end with no real project, especially on a daily. That would only burn her out and make her not want to do anything at all. She lay on her side, staring at nothing, her hair covering parts of her face as she blew strands of hair away from her lips with each breath out. Soon, with the silence of the apartment, and lack of excitement, she soon fell asleep.
Not long after she did, her phone buzzed on the table. It buzzed and vibrated until the piece of technology had moved itself to the edge of the table and soon off of the top of it, to the carpeted ground. MC hadn't heard it, being far too asleep. The buzzing was a phone call, a phone call from V. He pulled his phone away from his ear as he looked at the phone, his brow raising as he was met with voice mail.
