The sound of the gun firing seemed to drone on and echo in the small room. MC's moving body to shove V away from her seemed to last forever and the scream that began to grow in volume could pierce the ears of anyone who heard it. The next sound that seemed so distant was the sound of the door being knocked off it's frame and men in black all pouring in, restricting both Rika and Saeran from running and disarmed them. It was only when something warm was beginning to encroach onto V's fingertips that time seemed to play back.

He moved his gaze to the girl who had shoved him only mere moments before everything went downhill and he saw her laying on the ground, not moving as blood began to form a crimson pool beneath her. V's eyes widen and fill with terror as he scrambled over to her, lifting her slightly and placing her head in his arms. Her breath hitched and blood leaked from the corner of her mouth.

V's eyes darted from her face to her wound on her side. The bullet had entered her lower left abdomen and left through the same area. The bullet went straight through the weak flesh and the wound bled and wouldn't stop bleeding. V used one of his hands to try and stop the bleeding, but nothing he did helped. The blood just pooled in his palm as it dripped though his fingers to the floor.

"Hey, MC!" Her eyes were still open by a fraction. "Don't close your eyes! Keep them open!" Before he knew it, tears began to overflow from his eyes and landed on the inside of his sunglasses before they rolled down the lense and dropped onto the girl he held. "Don't.. Don't leave me!" He hadn't realized anything happening around him, so when someone place a large hand on his shoulder, he looked up terrified hoping it wasn't a threat, and thankfully, it wasn't. Lifting his head quickly, his shaded eyes landed on a familiar figure.

"Jumin..." His voice trembled as he held MC close to him, thinking if he held her close enough she'd just smile and all of this would've been a nightmare. Jumin looked at his childhood friend and then to the girl bleeding in his arms. "She's not moving, we need to help her!" Jumin tightened his grip on V's shoulder reassuringly as his brow furrowed.

"We have an injured personnel here in critical condition!" Jumin's deep voice shouted as men quickly came rushing to their sides. V was reluctant to let them take her from him, but soon knew they'd help her much more than he could. She was carried off and Jumin began to ask questions, as V had expected.

"V." His voice was deep as he led V to a helicopter to which MC was being transported on to receive emergency care. "Start by telling me who this young woman is." V looked to MC's body that was seemed it was miles away and unconscious.

"This... is MC, the newest member of the RFA." Jumin's face didn't falter, but that was just how he was. He looked to the girl with a breathing mask on to attempt to regulate her breathing and many medics trying to contain her condition. He took this time to notice how much blood she was actually losing. Her shirt kept soaking up the blood before they removed it to keep the fabric from sticking to the wound. She harshly breathed uneven breaths and sweat rolled down her body, clearly in shock.

"I see, so where were you, or rather where did we just leave my men to capture and contain Rika, whom you claimed to be dead, and a spastic gunman." Though he didn't make it very noticeable, V knew. V could see the irritation and anger in Jumin's eyes and hear it in his voice. V took a breath to calm him down and then began to explain everything to Jumin. Jumin would nod or hum occasionally to show that he was still listening to V talk. Once V had finished, they sat in silence as JUmin had his arms crossed and his eyes closed, processing everything.

"Well, first things first. Next opportunity you get, you should tell everyone about everything. We'll take care of Rika and the other boy." V nodded and soon the helicopter landed and MC was rushed inside a hospital, V no longer allowed to follow beside her. He took this time of patience to sign into the RFA app and his nerves hit max when everyone was active.
