Avalanche

My breath was running heavy as I pounced on the door I saw down the hallway to the left. I was running away from something strange that its peculiarity is yet to be known.

With a steady heartbeat, I gripped on the doorknob; hoping that I could enter the room I have never seen.

Alas, the chains were binding me. They were gripping my neck and suffocating my soul. Eyes started to bulge out of my sockets and the next thing I know, I was on my knees, crying.

I have finally opened it, I have found what was inside the said room and I have never been thankful of the chains that kept me bounded.

Curiosity killed the cat, it didn't kill the owner. I was an avalanche heading into my demise as I was heading towards oblivion. I was saying yes and the chains kept saying no.

The chains love me, I love me, he loves me.
